Regular Member Knight88 Posted November 4, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted November 4, 2018 Hello. I had my fue procedure done on Tuesday and it’s now Sunday. I still have slight swelling which is normal. My donor area feels quite tight and is uncomfortable when trying to sleep. It’s not painful it’s just uncomfortable when lying on it. Is this normal? Thanks.
Regular Member here Posted November 5, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted November 5, 2018 Yes, it actually remained not exactly painful, but felt weird when I put pressure on it for about 3ish weeks.

Thanks. Your donor area will take a good few weeks (months) to heal back to it's natural state as the the small wounds heal and the nerves repair themselves. The pain/sensation will die down gradually, this is normal. Edited November 5, 2018 by Shera

Senior Member HarryHonolulu Posted November 5, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted November 5, 2018 I actually found that I regained 100% of feeling in my donor area but not in my recipient area (2 months out of surgery) I thought it would be the other way around
Senior Member Shera Posted November 5, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted November 5, 2018 No, the feeling in the recipient area will always take longer, several months perhaps to get full sensation back.
Senior Member JohnCasper Posted November 7, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted November 7, 2018 Sorry I didn't see your post until today....To help with uncomfortable sleeping I stacked a couple pillows putting my head at an angle which decreased the pressure on the donor area(s). Give that a try. I am an online representative for Carolina Hair Surgery & Dr. Mike Vories (Recommended on the Hair Transplant Network).
