Tomorrow will be 2 months. So, the sides grew very quickly for some reason. They got pretty long. I m not sure what’s going on at the recipient area. Did I grow some hair there or not all of them shed?

i could swear the transplanted area got pretty much bald after my 1 month mark and I went back to how I was before. I had been wearing my hair pushed forward, covering the transplanted area, so I wasn’t following the process. I wasn’t even paying attention to it. Can someone help me better understand what’s exactly happening? Also why is my scalp still looking so nasty and like there is still scabbing at the roots of my hairs?

anyways, here are the pics (upon close up, I see some tiny little hairs poking through)

Each transplanted hair graft has a mind, blood supply, timing of its own for healing and growing, but, from your photos all looks normal man, good luck!

Just under 3 month mark. It will be 90 days on the 16th. Ugly duckling at its best here and don’t think there has been any progress. Next post will be most likely from the 6 month mark. Hopefully by then there will be some solid visual difference.

Thoughts?

All is normal and the hairs are starting to grow. Happy growing! I’m sure you will be ecstatic at your 6month mark!

Growth looks real good for 4.5 months, do you have any concealer in your hair?

Thank you. No concealer. Straight out of shower, I blow dried my hair and took the photos

No nothing at all. That would defeat the purpose big time. Just as it is after a shower l

Very nice progress, thickness & density look great for 6-months! 👍🏻

You temple corners looks to be progressing nicely too but tricky to tell from your latest pics, you got great caliber dark hair, any idea how many microns thick your native hairs are from the doc?

Thank you! I don’t think they even measured that, so I don’t know what caliber. But I have always had thick hair.

Temple areas are filling it pretty decent. Wayyy better than before that’s for sure. The only part that is lacking is the area I banged against the wall and lost my grafts and had to re-transplant. I guess that’s on me..

Sure man! Ah ok no worries.

Yeah, the temples are progressing well and makes sense that there’s some growth issue in the area you bumped & bloodied and grafts came out even if they fill it back in the trauma maybe have nixed growth for now, but you could try and fix that later if you ever need to do another ht.

Looks great for 8-months, congrats man!

Thanks brother! I m super happy with the results already. I would be content if i didn’t have any further growth honestly. I mean I hope it keeps growing but I think it’s done.
