Update on Severe Hair Loss Restoration Case with Dr.UGraft™

This patient had a history of hair loss and poor results from previous hair restoration attempts. These procedures not only failed to reverse hair loss, but also left visible scars on his consequently depleted donor area. 

 

Ready to give up on any hope of restoration, he became aware of Dr. U’s success with repairs for head-donor depleted patients using non-head hair. After a consultation, he was ready to give a body hair to head transplant with Dr.UGraft™ a shot. Using the Intelligent Punch™ (Dr.UPunch i™), which features patented and unpatented graft grip, pull, score, and release mechanisms, Dr. U was able to safely extract a total of 6,500 grafts. 

Roughly 3150 grafts came from the beard, 1300 from the nape of the neck, and 500 from the chest. The other 1550 grafts were harvested from the head. The grafts were used to not only provide coverage over hair loss and scarring but to also recreate a more natural-looking hairline.
