The chart, by itself, is a bit ambiguous and doesn't tell the whole story. I assume it's referring to popping, but I think Bloxham's post paints a more complete picture (this graph merely reinforces the idea that, often times, you're not close to done at 5 months). Gotchya. Yeah, I agree. Dr Boxhams post is very good and helped ease some of my concerns early on.
Senior Member HairDew Posted February 18, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted February 18, 2019 Hang in there man. Biggest change for me happened in the month 8-10. Even at 6 months I was worrying but it turned out good
Senior Member Kraistoff Posted February 19, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 19, 2019 There has been a huge change since December . Between 3 and 5 months has been huge
Senior Member Kraistoff Posted February 21, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2019 Week 24 ive realised that styling my hair upwards rather than down flat help it look much better. I can see some very fine hairs behind the hairline which have no colour and should mature over the next couple of months I have received comments from people about how natural it looks, and that people think it is a success . Still in direct light you can see the scalp, but in normal room lighting I think it looks good photos below
Jamothee
Looking good mate. Must be encouraging to receive comments about how natural it looks, I think that's a worry we all go through. I think at just under 6 months you are on the right track and have a lot to look forward to over the next year.

FarsanUk
Hang in there you're on course I'm just a month behind you I know exactly how you're feeling. 6-8 months is where the meat of the new growth takes place so don't worry.
Regular Member MHR84 Posted March 11, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted March 11, 2019 Can you upload any picture from pre surgery time? You crown area and area around mid scalp looks quite good compared to your hairline and frontal area! usually the crown area fills up in the last , but in your case it filled very well and that too in short span of time. Concrags you look on track👍🏻
Senior Member Kraistoff Posted March 11, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2019 Here are some pre op photos. i can help but feel worried, but I think a lot of people on this forum aren’t making it any better for anyone complaining about their results after 7, 6 or sometimes even 5 months. its an illusion of density after all , if we go picking through or scalp to find bald spots, then zoom in under harsh light we are going to be dissapoonted. I spent all day feeling good good about my hair , relieved that I made the right choice . I have just read another thread about density as Asmed , I find myself parting my hair awkwardly and taking photos under harsh light , I’m not even at 6 months. Im not going to comment on any of these threads and won’t be reading them as it isn’t doing my mental health any good. I hope for a good result and if I don’t i will post it on here just the same. Regular Member MHR84 Posted March 11, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) Thanks for sharing. Your hair looks amazing at six months mark compared to pre-surgery time. And you can expect it to get even better in the next 6 months. Not every result of Asmed is bad and the few of them complaining i think have a legit reason. I am almost at 8.5 months mark and my hairline is still quite weak and not allow me to push my hair backward. I had to wear them doen to not expose my scalp, not a very ideal situation at this point (almost 9 months), see attached pic taken just now but i agree there are only few such results. Asmed is still producing good results ( like yours) & a big name in transplant world Edited March 11, 2019 by MHR84

Senior Member Kraistoff Posted March 17, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2019 Update density is getting better Today I went outside and took some photos whilst using my GF comb I can see loads of new fine hairs in the hairline , and behind the hairline many hairs are still fine . FarsanUk
Slowly getting better by month 9 -10 I'm sure you'll be over the moon. Have you considered buying a smart phone attachable microscope ? I just bought it for 15 pounds of amazon it's really good because you can see exactly what's happening at such close zoom. I just drag it through the scalp and i see whats there on my android.Check these pics : Edited March 17, 2019 by FarsanUk

Regular Member xadiohead Posted March 21, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted March 21, 2019 Kraistoff, your hair already looks so much better at 6 months than it did pre-op. Yes there are still a few areas lacking density but hopefully that will fill in for the most part over the next 6 months. Have to have realistic expectations though as you have dark hair on what appears to be fair skin (same as you Farsan). That's going to make the illusion a bit more difficult to completely achieve for the full coverage in outside light you are wanting. It is still going to be a day and night improvement compared to your before pictures.
