Senior Member Kraistoff Posted August 20, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 20, 2019 Hey Derek yes I’m happier , it’s all about styling it the right way i will never be 100% happy with myself or anything I do , I always want to improve which is what makes us succeed I think if I cut my hair short I won’t be able to pull off the illusion. I don’t think my density is any better than other people’s. I can make it look terrible under direct sunlight

Senior Member Der3k7 Posted August 20, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted August 20, 2019 So that's quite a good thing. My temples improved quite a bit but my top and corners need to be thoroughly better so many grafts didn't grow there haha. You had pretty good growth in that area

Senior Member Kraistoff Posted September 14, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 14, 2019 12 month update my fellow hairloss sufferers someone told me 12 months ago that there will be a lot of puss and downs and they were right. It was a daunting journey. i receive nothing but positive comments from colleagues about my hair, and people who don’t know I’ve had a hair transplant think I’m a teenager when I’m actually in my early thirties . I have posted photos below under direct bathroom light with hair lifted upwards , in the same lighting with hair combed sideways , some more outside, and then a couple in the car. I have finished it off with a photo of where I started. The clinic has had a load of positive reviews on here, and there were a few negative reviews too which increased after I had my surgery which made it quite nerve racking especially around the 6-7 month mark. My 6 month photos will also be at the bottom of this post . I think my hair improved a fair bit since 6 months , and I now have styled my hair longer on top to make it look thicker . i have my self esteem, confidence and hair back. THANK YOU ASMED TEAM AND DR ERDOGAN

Senior Member BjornBorg Posted September 15, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted September 15, 2019 Looking gooood. Important to include the before shot. Your loss wasn't mild and 4500 was the bare minimum needed. Also you are able to wear your sides relatively short which is important if you want to sport a modern hairstyle. But back when some negative forces ran this forum, the perception completely changed. Senior Member Kraistoff Posted September 22, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 22, 2019 All, to anyone that that has been to asmed, did they ask you for your 12 months photos or did you have to send it to them and wait for a response? My coordinator did contact me asking if I would take some post-12 month photos and send it to them last month...Instead, I replied that I would be visiting Istanbul once again early this September, for some dental work/vacation and I’d be happy to visit and let them take their pro clinic ‘after’ photos....which they did... They were all very nice, and I had a nice chat with Dr Erdogan and the staff as well as a nice tour of the new clinic (which is top-notch and impressive). I don’t believe it’s anything specific in reasoning, with the amount of patients they handle post-op and other than I have kept in contact with my coordinator every few months and did send updated photos to here ever so often...I was month 15. They should definitely be asking you for your photos considering your positive dramatic transformation, I bet they’re just waiting to see if you get any further maturity progress at your 15-18th month...but still your current results are definitely worthy of being displayed by them. Senior Member Kraistoff Posted October 3, 2019 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 3, 2019 Hello Marlvin I’ll PM my contact. They have never actually contacted me, only responded when I’ve asked something. It would have been nice for someone to make contact with me first. at around the 6 month mark (height of my paranoia ) I was having no response at all. I tracked them down on this site to ask what was going on and it turns out my coordinator Esen has left. This is why I have another coordinator but they haven’t chased me up without me hassling them.
