Senior Member Speegs Posted September 11, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 11, 2018 Likely it's coming. A minority of people don't shed the graft follicles at all, but it could take 4 to 6 weeks to shed. Hair loss patient and transplant veteran. Once a Norwood 3A. Received 2,700 grafts with coalition doctor on 8/13/2010 Received 2,380 grafts with Dr. Steven Gabel on 9/30/2011 Received 1,820 grafts with Dr. Steven Gabel on 7/28/2016

Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted September 11, 2018 Administrators Share Posted September 11, 2018 Week 3 and 4 is when grafts generally shed. Month 2 is when full blow ugly duckling hits. Senior Member HarryHonolulu Posted September 11, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 11, 2018 Well fellas - just like clockwork... I washed my hair this morning and for the first time noticed a few hairs out of my recipient area lol! question: does early shedding usually mean earlier growth ? Almost prefer getting the shedding out of the way sooner

Senior Member JohnCasper Posted September 14, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 14, 2018 Probably doesn’t correlate Harry. Shedding at this time is expected and good luck going through what I call the “awkward teenage” stage. You have a lot to look forward to in 3-4 months.
