Regular Member Ukspurs Posted August 10, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2018 (edited) Hey all, I had an FUE with Dr Reddy at the Selston clinic (Outside Nottingham UK) on the 7th April 2018. It cost £6000 for about 3500 hairs. Before. About 2 weeks after. Edited August 10, 2018 by Ukspurs
Regular Member Ukspurs Posted August 10, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 10, 2018 At the 4 month mark. Forgot to mention my regime of regaine foam (5%) once a day at night. Can’t stand to put it on in the day as it makes my hair look and feel awful. Also use Propecia 1mg once daily.
Regular Member Deanomag Posted August 21, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted August 21, 2018 Hi Ukspurs very intrigued to hear about the pricing and results, I’m in a similar place with my thoughts and looking to use Dr Reddy at Selston clinic .. how did you find the experience? Results are looking good.
Regular Member Ukspurs Posted August 28, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 28, 2018 Hey Deano, The experience was fine, pretty much as expected. Dr Reddy was present for the majority of the operation as far as I am aware. At times when the techs were doing their bit he would be sat observing. Other times he did pop out of the room, but I was felt reassured that I was the only patient having the surgery. This was another reason I opted for Dr Reddy and surgery in the UK. Regular Member Ukspurs Posted November 12, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 12, 2018 Thanks. Still got a few little bumps coming up so hopefully a few more hairs and then some thickening over the following months up to a year. Will probably wait until 10 months before I’ll update again. Senior Member VicTNYC Posted April 7, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) IMO, I think it looks good given it was probably just somewhere around 1,600 to 1,750 grafts , and depending on your hair caliber, to give the 3,500 hairs they calculated so it’s a good conservative result and I can understand you wanting more to bring in more density in the temples or lower them a bit and you probably can if you choose to as you may have thousands more available donor grafts. Either way it’s a 👍🏻 Edited April 7, 2019 by VicTNYC
Senior Member home1212 Posted April 7, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 7, 2019 that's a great natural looking hairline that will suit you for years to come, congrats!
Regular Member Ukspurs Posted May 9, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 9, 2019 (edited) Don’t want it lowering at all. It looks very natural and have only had positive comments regarding how natural it looks. It seems to be continuing to thicken a bit which is great. Final thoughts are that it was definitely worth having it done and if needed, I would go back to Dr Reddy for further work in future. I hope this has been of help to others considering their own hair transplant. Edited May 9, 2019 by Ukspurs
