Day 6   - head wash.

Removed the head band. Still the scalp feels tight and seems the anaesthesia is not drained completely. But no major swelling.

Front grafts place ment seems ok density but the mid scalp looks to be very thin with lots of gaps.

I am not sure may be it is difficult to see as I did no shave procedure. Bit concerned about the mild scalp density.

Day 15 - scabs almost gone. I was bit aggressive with my cleaning and also lost most of my existing hair due to scrubbing. No sign of shock loss yet.

Started using laser helmet and minoxidle 5%.

Big shedding in receipient and donor area.

Only very few hairs have come out so far. Not much visible growth of the transplanted hair.

Swelling near the stiches are 98 percent gone.

Any comments so far is appreciated.20180913_125854.thumb.jpg.c42490c6830999459ab301cce64ac316.jpg

3 months update (92 days)

Not much growth to report. Very few new hairs here and there and they are very thin and colourless . In the picture most of my long hairs are my existing hairs not from tranplated hair as I did no shave procedure.

Some pimples appear time to time.

Overall no major growth to report. Feeling down at 3 months :(

I will share the FUT scare pictures in few days

Wow, your 90 days growth looks great, I can see the baby hair started growing, perhaps your hair growth is fast, your speedy growth seems like you are going to get a great transformation in next few months. When I had my transplant, this much hair growth I had almost  after 120 days.

BEST WISHES! Keep update your progress :)

@mahendrasThank you for your wishes. I see some have very good results at 3months time. I am already tired of this waiting game.

I understand it is a slow process but still I want it growth much more quicker then what I have .

It is difficult to see which hair is growing back is it the transplanted hair or my existing hair after shock loss

It is been 4 months. Pictures attached. I do not see much new growth. Mostly the hair I had at 3 months grew bit longer and slightly thicker. I am bit worried now. I look now close to where I was before surgery. One side of the scar is wide and quite visible. I will upload scar photo separately.

@Legend left side scar is wider the  the right

@AshishG I did not speak with the surgeon yet. Because I know the answer it will be I need to wait.

I will contact the surgeon if I am not happy at 6 months

On average most of the transplanted should have grown at this point.

Your hair growth is good in 4 months and noticeable, implanted hair is growing, although achieving complete results takes about one year, even the restoration of the donor mark takes 6-8 months. I'm pretty sure your results are going to be Great. According to my hair transplant experience with Dr. Soni, he is an expert in Tricho Closure Method, which leaves almost negligible marks in the donor area.

I had my hair surgery last year with Dr. Soni. I was equally anxious like you but within 8 months my mark was almost gone and now it is difficult to find any mark in my donor area. My result is also very good and the most important part is my hairline which looks absolutely natural.

here is my ref. link.

Hi ,

What about your scar ?

Actaully i also hair transplant at medispa by dr Sumeet soni in 2017 , he assured me of having a pencil thin scar , but i ended up with ear to ear 2mm + scar

Now i am planning to undergo another surgery to conceal my SCAR

@Dhyan

My scar does not seem to be like a pencil line. One side of the scar above my ear seems to be wide. I still have some stubles on the scar. I am hoping it will get better. But we will see at 6 months and a year mark.

Regarding your result how do you feel about it?

I am having a slow growth and still some area I do not see on some areas no hair have started to grow.

I am at 4.5 month mark and  I do not see much difference since 4 month mark.

Is you possible to share your results before and after photos.

Thanks

@Dhyan

Yes it is better you share your experience. Normally forum do not believe  comments from someone who have joined 2 hours ago. It will be assumed that you are a competitor who is trying to ruin business for Dr Soni. So share your experience with photos etc.

Here is my 5months update.

I do not see a big improvement from 4 months to 5 months in the front but there is some growth and crown ( not to bother for now I guess). Still I see a lot of areas have not started to growth. The ones already sprouted are growing at a very slow phase.

Not sure how much density I will get in the coming months.

The scare is bad on the left side and right side is fine.

I hate how my crown look. I am thinking of using Dermatch until the next transplant. Is it ok use them now? Any advise. I do a lot of sports thats is why dermatch as it is sweat and water proof.

I am thinking of an FUE surgery next time for the crown and mid scalp. What you guys think?
