I am considering Dr Acar at cosmedica , can anyone shed some light on this clinic. There instagram before and after pics look really good. They have two prices gold package at 1990 euros done by the technicians. And a vip package 3490 euros done by Dr Acar himself. I am 23 years old been loosing my hair since 19. Currently on minoxidil for 6 months. I have tried finasteride and notice side effects within the first week so I no longer take the pills.

Hi Thomas,

In my opinion you should wait at least another year to see how your hair loss develops. If you had side effects from taking Finasteride then I would recommend you halve the dosage and try again. Some side effects are common in the first few weeks as your body gets used to the drug. If you still have issues then you could try taking it every other day.

If you decide against taking it, then you should prepare yourself for future hairloss considering you have already receded quite heavily in the hairline and temple areas. Your midscalp and crown are also showing signs of thinning therefore without drug intervention keeping your hair will unfortunately always be an uphill struggle.

So, I think you should give the Finasteride a further go. You could also try Monoxidil which helps rejuvinate the hairs in some patients. But these are the only 2 product that are proven.

If you decide to go with the meds, you can assess your hair after the 6-12 month mark and if it has somewhat recovered and stabilised then you can look at having a procedure done to fill your temples and strenghen your hairline.
