Embedding video clips from YouTube is really simple and easy.  When viewing the clip on YouTube, just click on the Share link

and then copy the URL:

Paste it into the text entry area and this will automatically convert the link to the clip as shown below.

Just had to add this one too :)

The same procedure applies to Vimeo clips, just use the share option,

Then copy the URL

Paste that in the text box and it will embed automatically.

Ok, so it really is just about as easy as copying and pasting the URL of the video into the forum topic..  But do they have to click the share icon and get the video URL there?  Can't they just go to the top of the browser window and copy the URL?  I know there are several different URLs for the same YouTube video (for whatever reason I don't know), but do they all work?

Please advise.

To embed video clips, follow these general steps:

1. **Upload the Video:** First, upload your video to a video hosting platform like YouTube, Vimeo, or others.

2. **Get Embed Code:** Once the video is uploaded, find the option to share or embed. Look for an "Embed" or "Share" button usually located near the video.

3. **Copy Embed Code:** Click on the provided embed code or a similar option. Copy the entire code provided.

4. **Paste Code in Website or Platform:** Navigate to the webpage or platform where you want to embed the video. If you have a website, access the HTML code of the page where you want the video.

5. **Paste Embed Code:** Paste the copied embed code into the HTML code of your webpage at the location where you want the video to appear.

6. **Save and Preview:** Save the changes to your webpage and preview it to ensure the video is embedded correctly.

Remember that the process might vary slightly depending on the platform you're using, so refer to specific instructions provided by the hosting platform or website builder you're working with.
