I am huge fan of dr Freitas work. What i don't like that he won't operate without finasteride. What about those who can't stand drug :/

Excellent result - very natural as always. Four year waiting list though. That's probably why he insists on his patients using fin - so they look the same+/- as when he gives the consultation.

Wow, very natural result. I would never guess that is a transplant. Seems really like I missed this clinic so far.

No one does micro irregularity in the hairline at this level apart from maybe Rahal IMO.

You want to talk natural, this is natural as it can get.  If done right, you can see the exceptional yield.  This Dr worked in between native hairs and did a fantastic job.  All under 2500 grafts and this was done with appropriate density considerations in recipient zone to lessen harm on scalp for sure.  The right type of grafts were used in the right damn places.  The extraction pattern is so well scatterred and not confined to a rectangular shape infested with compressed extractions.  The Dr did a fantastic job doing this safely and it was well planned.  I am very happy for the patient. This is such a natural result and it is not off by any angle.  If done right, this is how things should be for most hairline cases.  Some docs can get carried away and do things that can be detrimental to a patients scalp.  You go to some docs in Turkey they may try to put 3500 grafts in same zone then fail and have patient come back.  Not just Turkey but even in some parts of North america where 3000+ grafts would be estimated as placement for similar hair types and recipient zones.  I so wish i so wish things were the same for most cases by other docs. Fml

Big Congrats to the doc!  Job well done.  This is fantastic!

The four year Spaniard is Couto, Freitas is supposedly a year or so but with potential for quicker if available at short notice. Honestly I think Freitas does better work though, Couto very impressive but there's one particular hairline result from Youtube which people focus on too much rather than his middleground cases.

I actually didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I will look into it. I don't particularly want FUE but those hairlines are just so good.

What kind of clinic is Freitas? Does he use techs for extraction / implantation or does he perform the surgery mainly on his own? Obviously, he uses implanter pens and stick and place.

Side questions: Does anyone know how the curvature of the graft is controlled using an implanter pen?

Extractions fully performed by techs and motorised punch, along with multiple patients a day. Add his to the list of clinics such as Lorenzo, Erdogan and Feriduni's that do better work than 99% of clinics in which the doctor performs extractions.

The one issue I would take with this case now that I am seeing it sober is that I think the extractions have been taken in risky areas (very high and very low) which might be good for the long-term health/aesthetics of the donor, but the long-term result in the recipient may be lessened.

I don't fully understand one aspect of Dr Freitas work. He has recommended 2800 grafts for me. And he says the work will be spread over two consecutive days.usually upto 3000 or more grafts doctors do in one sitting. And I believe Dr Freitas can handle this but there must be some reasons he prefers this way.

I am just wondering if I should sit through another day of surgery and what the pros and cons are ?

Thanks,
