I'm a 29 yr-old guy living in the US, NW 2-3 with 1500-2000 grafts needed. This is gonna be my first surgery in my life(therefore a little anxious). Already booked my flight and appointment confirmed. But still have a few questions:
1.I searched on the forum on cases done by Dr.Keser, recently only very few ppl posted compared to other doctors. I'm kinda curious why?
2.I'm asked to bring all cash as payment, is this expected? I feel a little unsafe to bring so much cash with me in a foreign country. Is there another way?
3.Related to question 2, how's travel safety in Turkey now?
4.Any chance a post-op visit would be needed after my trip? Then I have to fly over again? Does it ever happen and how often?
Thanks a lot for help! I've learned so much from the forum.
I had a hair transplant (my third iteration) in late January of 2018, which means I am now coming up on my 12 month mark.
The results have been pretty good, and I'm satisfied with the way my hair looks. I'm booked in for a one-year post-op visit with my doctor at the end of the month.
Lately, I've really been struggling to break habits that I formed after my hair surgery. I am still avoiding the sun completely. I do not want to put any product in my hair for fear of unseen damage. I do not wash or dry my hair too vigorously. There are many other habitual actions, too many to name, that I formed post-op and continue.
Has anyone else struggled with this way of thinking? I know it's not healthy, but I'm finding it hard to break free.
Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.
A bit of a hypothetical, but also may be applicable to some.
If money was no issue, and you could choose anyone, who would you choose? (With the exception of one's that have a 3-4 year wait).
It's so hard to pick a surgeon, because some in the US (Cooley, LA FUE clinic, H&W) have unreal results, but are so expensive.
Then, some like Cinik, Asmed, and so on also show great results, but have naysayers floating around.
I guess im wondering if the gap between the expensive, versus the medium is now smaller than it used to be, and if it's worth if overall.
