hairisback Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Hi, everyone today is 2nd post-op and I will write down a thing or two about my experience at Dr. Erdogan. Before Turkey My hairline has been receding since my college years(23years old to 28) and recently it has been more noticeable to me and my friends. So when I looked at mirror and I grew more self-conscious. I started to do some research online but the cost of doing FUE at a leading clinic in Canada is prohibitively high. Then I narrowed down my choices to Turkish clinics and started comparing their reviews and actually sending my case to them for review. Dr. Erdogan stands out from the pack. His reviews are consistently positive and he/his coordinator has asked me additional pictures/questions before accepting my case. BTW I am norwood 2 and the graft done is 3000. 1st day Turkey Driver picked me up from hotel and I had a good sleep 2nd day Turkey At 2pm they drove me to the hotel, first I had the consultation done. The doctor drew me a line I feel natural( Or you can say I can not judge really well). Then they shaved my head and refined the hairline. 3nd day Turkey Op day. I would not say the extraction process is really pleasant(not specific to the clinic). But I feel they did a good job to keep you in check. My coordinator is with me 90% of the time(if not her assistnant), so there is always someone that understands English. The doctor and the nurses are all laughing and making jokes during the operation, it keeps you relaxed to some extent. It might be counterintuitive but I think in a long surgery like this keeping a positive vibe helps you concentrate so I was ok with that. I could not really fall sleep during the implantation process but it was ok. 4nd day Turkey Picked up from hotel at 9:10 to do a wash at the clinic. Given a bunch of stuff to maintain th hair on our own. Overall this is a very good experience except for the fact that the FUE process is more tiring/painful than I expected. The whole process, the clinic and the people I've dealt with are all professional. I would say the premium you paid over the other 2-nd tier clinics is well justified. Now picture time! Do you guys think the post-op picture looks ok?
hairisback Posted March 25, 2018 Author Posted March 25, 2018 I bled quite a bit during the op, but it is just me. After 1st wash back to normal. I will post a picture showing more clearly my grafts later.
Senior Member mosd Posted March 26, 2018 Senior Member Posted March 26, 2018 A question : Why does always koray draw a big area but then only place the graft on a much smaller area?
