Senior Member jimbrann Posted June 14, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted June 14, 2018 A quick side by side of month 1 and month 3 Can you post the same comparison pic for your left temple as well? But this is looking good for 1700 grafts. Trying to gauge how big/small the area you had done actually is.

Regular Member Schwelm Posted July 6, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 6, 2018 Month 4 update! It's crazy to think that 4 months ago today I was sat in Dr Feridunis clinic nervously awaiting to have my hair transplant done, where has time gone?! Things have thickened up nicely on both temples...the left side is still much thicker than the right but supposably it's normal for one side to grow faster than the other, for me as long as i can see an improvement from last month's update I'm happy....and I can see a definite improvement
Bill - Seemiller
Work looks nice and clean which is what I expect from the great Dr, Feriduni. Is an outstanding surgeon and a great person. I’ve met him several times at various ISHRS scientific meetings despite a little bit of a language barrier, he was always easy to talk to and very friendly. Look forward to seeing results when they all grow in. Best wishes, Bill

Best wishes, Bill Thank you, Yeah I'd heard a lot of good things about Dr Feriduni' bedside manner, that was actually one of the reasons that swayed me to him over the other surgeons that I was researching at the time, he genuinely seems to care about making his patients happy and stands by his work... and I thought if anything were to go wrong I would want to make sure I chose a surgeon who wouldn't leave me in a bad situation. Thankfully I've not had to put that to the test
Senior Member thatoldchestnut Posted July 7, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2018 (edited) I would say, in my completely unprofessional opinion, this type of growth, at this stage, almost always bodes well for the final result. Exciting times ahead! Best of luck. Edited July 7, 2018 by thatoldchestnut
Regular Member Schwelm Posted August 4, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 4, 2018 5 Month Update! A little early this month but i had some spare time so thought i would update my results for the 5 month mark. Things have continued to grow nicely and the grafts are getting to the length where i can start experimenting with hairstyles. I've started wearing my hair up which is a real milestone for me on a personal level because i would always get so self conscious about my hair falling out of place and exposing my receding hairline, but now i feel like i can confident go outside with my hair done up and not worry about any wind or rain. The right temple has really filled out over the last few weeks which has been exciting to see, the left is still a bit behind in comparison but there is an improvement and i can notice lots more tiny hairs sprouting out which im guessing are hairs that have taken a little longer to start growing. I've attatched 2 photos for either side, one with the grafts pushed forward like the previous photos and another pulled back to give you a clearer picture of how the hairline is looking. Regular Member Schwelm Posted September 4, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2018 6 MONTH UPDATE!!! Things have come a long way since i first had my hair transplant procedure. I'm enjoying wearing my hair up or down without feeling self conscious but there's still progress to be made....well....i hope there is The right temple is doing great, its starting to blend in with the natural hair and the density is good. The left however is starting to concern me, its noticeably thinner than the right and i feel that it looks quite unnatural, hopefully it's just because there's still a bit of redness which is highlighting the transplant but i find when i push my hair back it looks very artificial. I've uploaded some photos to give a better idea. Should i start to be concerned or does it look about right for 6 months? Left side (weaker side) Right Side (better side) I'd be really interested to know what you guys think if how everything's looking. Thanks for reading

Baha yeah my hair was rather wild when i took those photos, I'm actually thinking of getting it cut short later this week so that the native hair and transplanted hairs are the same length but not sure if i can go through with it as i like having my hair longer haha
Senior Member Gasthoerer Posted September 4, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 4, 2018 Honestly, it looks good for 6 month. Actually it looks good, never mind the month. If it is 100 % natural looking is hard to tell, cause the pics are to low quality. However. dark hair on pale skin is always the most difficult combination to look natural. YOu have some more month of growing and for the skin to heal. I guess it will be great in the end. 400+ grafts in 2018 and 2900 grafts in 2020 via FUE with Feriduni

Senior Member jimbrann Posted September 7, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 7, 2018 Thanks for the update. I guess its hard to tell with those shots but in 2 of the picuters, the hairline looks a little harsh. Hopefully the hair texture evens out. Seems your recipient is still red after 6 months? Senior Member alex79 Posted September 7, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 7, 2018 Nice results. Can you please tell me how much did you pay for 1700 grafts?
Regular Member Schwelm Posted September 8, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 8, 2018 I've uploaded some more photos of the hairline and hopefully these are better quality and give you a better idea of the hairline design. I'm ignoring the redness as i'm confident that it will fade in time (even if it is taking its sweet time), what i want to focus on is the actual placement of the grafts in the hairline. The right side in my opinion looks great and im very happy with it. The left side however looks kinda artificial in comparison and at 6 month i have reservation about how much difference there will be in the next 6 months. Senior Member Gasthoerer Posted September 8, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted September 8, 2018 (edited) Well, if you want my honnest opinion: I had to look at the pics several times to find out which side you consider as you "artificial looking" one. Your left, our left, ... Conclusion: Your problem isn't really a problem but only in your mind. Actually you look great for month 6 and I expect it to become even better in 6 more month. Certainly it will be a good result, but maybe not a great homerun one (which does not happen often with dark hair on pale skin anyway). But you will be <200 nonshaved FUE grafts away from a homerun results for sure. There is noth to worry about but a lot to be happy about.
