BHRClinic
BHR Clinic Dr. Christian BISANGA Age: 33 Technique: Strip Medication: No Donor density: 70 FUs/cm2 Hair calibre: Medium Previous surgeries: Yes Total FU: 3.071 * FU breakdown:- 1s 663 2s 1674 3s 645 4s 89 That means 3.071 FU = 6.302 Hairs. Average = 2,05 hairs/FU. This patient had 3 previous surgeries without achieving her goal: 2 strip procedures + an “expander” between those surgeries. As a result, she had a scarring scalp so her case was considered a major repair. Recipient area had also an important number of “plugs” and the patient had to comb in a very specific way to hide the situation. After a consultation with Dr. Bisanga, it was decided to not remove those plugs but to recreate a new hairline and put new FU among those plugs. The patient did not want to shave her donor area for a FUE procedure, so she preferred Strip technique. All the pictures except the surgery ones have been provided by the patient herself. Senior Member Gasthoerer Posted August 20, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted August 20, 2018 Life changing! Great result in terms of design of the hairline, Overall plan and final outcome. The butcher who performed the first procedures should be tarred and feathered. 400+ grafts in 2018 and 2900 grafts in 2020 via FUE with Feriduni
BHRClinic
Hi Princessisland17, Dr. Bisanga used 3071 Strip grafts on this case. Regarding the cost I should ask to the clinic since it was a repair case and maybe it was a little bit more expensive than usual. Please feel free to send me a PM if you wish to know more about this case. @ Gasthoerer, thank you very much for your comments, really appreciated. Senior Member Sean Posted August 21, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted August 21, 2018 What an amazing repair. Repairing is a challenge and Dr Bisanga nailed it. Also, some folks need to understand there are plenty of touch up cases and repairs out there. Not everyone knows how to do a proper repair and not every patient in this situation can speak out about it. Dr Bisanga, again did a fantastic job here.
