Does using beard trimmer for trimming scalp hair damages the scalp hair?

I've been buzzing my head with a beard trimmer for the past few months and I'm afraid I might be damaging my hair/scalp by using beard trimmer and not head hair clipper.

As long as it's got a good charge and not struggling to cut the hair, and therefore snagging Hairs, then it's ok. Even if it was to snag I don't really think it's much of a big deal TBH.

I literally cut my hair with dog clippers, and my hair is in great shape. The beard clippers are fine as long as your scalp isn't getting irritated or the hairs being pulled. Although, if buzzing your head is something you do quite regularly, you can get a pair of actual clippers for a decent price that will make the whole process that much easier for you.
