Senior Member bennyt89 Posted February 25, 2018 Senior Member Posted February 25, 2018 How realistic is it that 0.25 per day of Fin could make you unable to have children? I've been on Fin for close to 7 years now with no real sides ever. But this is something that has sprung to mind... especially since the FDA I believe revised the side effect warning to also include infertility even after stopping the drug (very happy to be corrected on this). Is it something worth worrying over? Or is it one of those less than 1% odds like with a lot of drugs when it comes to significant sides..
Senior Member fortuneplant Posted February 25, 2018 Senior Member Posted February 25, 2018 Hi benny. I thought the studies citing side effects were based on taking 5mg/day? Even then, Fin stays in the body around 4 to 5 days only so it's easily reversible when you stop taking it. But my understanding is that it doesn't matter if you take 0.5mg/day or 1mg/day as it just take the former slower to have a positive effect on your head. Once you a certain level of fin in your body, the effect will be the same.
Senior Member Triple7 Posted February 25, 2018 Senior Member Posted February 25, 2018 I’ve been taking 1 pill a day for the past 18 years. I have 2 kids and another on the way. My wife had no problems and I took it the entire time.
