Finally took the plunge and underwent a hair transplant after years debating and looking at forums. 27 years old been losing my hair since my early 20s. Had a few consultations in the UK and online but decided on Erdogan due to results on this forum and others. My main focus was my hairline/frontal area. Stayed in the Radisson blu over the weekend as my procedure was on the Monday, really enjoyed my stay as the room, food and staff were great. The Staff at ASMED where fantastic and was very impressed with the building. My stats 2828 Grafts 290 single 1003 Double 1279 Triple 246 quadruple 8 Quintuple 2 sextuple Ratio – 2.54 Calibre – 55 microns Donor capacity – 8300 Generic finasteride 18 months Dr Erdogan told me to change to Proscar which he supplied me. Most of my scabs had fallen off by 7 days, I think if you have a good washing regime they are easy to get off. Digging my hairline and dreading the shed in the coming weeks... Don't worry the shed phase sucks, I think I finished mine a week or so ago (7 weeks) but it's funny I am at the point that although my hair looks the worst it's ever looked I am much more confident in the sense that I don't care how it looks! You are going to have an amazing result mate! Congrats on getting it done. Did you have any worries about carrying all that money in cash form especially getting past security/customs points at the airport. Also did you have a say in how many grafts you would receive? I have been quoted something almost 50% more than yours but I don't know how much further I am compared to you. Never mind it was great while it lasted:D I will need to keep up with your thread! palma13 I sent 3000 euros over before I flew then took the rest in GBP so saved on the exchange rate. Customs you can take up 10k without declaring. They quoted up to 2600 before I flew out, but with further inspection when hair was wet etc they advised up to 3500 to get full coverage in the front/mid section but didn't have enough cash for that so went with 2800. my main focus was my frontal section so was happy and the fact I wanted to save enough grafts for down the line. mosd I am not sure? Erdogan just advised me that I should get better results with proscar, with him provided a years supply I was happy to accept, as at the end of the day he wants the best results so it looks good for the clinic.
