Dr. Feriduni - 2080 Fue - Worried at 3 months

Hello everyone,

I am 29 years old and I did a FUE (2080 UF) exactly 3 months ago by Dr. Feriduni and his team.

Here are pictures of exactly 3 months, (the hair caught in my fingers are not UF transplanted)

Pictures at 5 days.

https://serving.photos.photobox.com/214 ... a76a4a.jpg

I find that there is very little regrowth for 3 months, especially when I compare with other patients at the same time...

I'm really worried about the evolution and I do not find it very encouraging especially at 3 months and for 2080 uf,

And I have totally smooth areas without regrowth, or a potential regrowth sign (small black poins)

According to you, everything is normal?

In advance, thank you very much for your answer.

(NB: I'm under finasteride since 8 years)

3 months is nothing, you're mired in the middle of the ugly duckling, months 2 and 3 are the worst and from 4 on is when most start seeing progression. Some will be ahead of the curve and some behind but where you're at currently is not abnormal at all. Right on sched.

Thanks for your answers guys

I know that at 3 months this is not supposed to be extraordinary, But, I find it really very very weak in terms of regrowth when I compare with other patients at the same stage.

Btw the right side seems better than the left side

However for 2080 UF, and for a treated area like this one, there should be no more encouraging signs?

I'm stressed about this and I know it's not good

Exio I understand what you're going through but it is just too early yet. I went to the same Dr and I experienced huge growth between months 3-4. I am now almost at month 5. But everybody grows at different rates. Give it a little more time. It may be worth keeping the clinic and this thread regularly updated.

I don't know how we can be clearer about this. You are not supposed to be expecting growth at the beginning of the 3rd month, there is NO weak at 3 months, you can be weak at 9 months as by then you should be seeing something but at 3 months there is nothing to see unless you're an outlier in your results. Hairs are popping most of them are just breaking the scalp and won't even be noticeable to you yet...give it a little time...the surgery is the easy part, the wait is the part that sucks...hair just takes its sweet time to grow and there is 0 benefit to stressing about that cause there is nothing you can do to change that fact. Trust those of us who have gone thru the process and seen countless others go thru the process, you're fine. If there was something we saw to worry about we'd tell you so you could address it with your doc. Still reach out to your doc if you're concerned but he'll just tell you to wait cause it's so early but for peace of mind talk to the clinic and get reassurance.

As many have hinted, there is no reason to be concerned about your status after the early 3 months. I was also with Dr. Feriduni. Here are a few pictures of the status after 3 months, 4 months and 7 months.

here is an update at 3 Months + 1 week

I also heard this story about slow growers, will wait I have no choice but I think it smells bad.

I would update this thread at 4 - 5 months.

Btw I lost a LOT of hair with the crusts when they are gone at about 12 days , could it have an impact?

oh, and i just saw this thread: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/179300-dr-feriduni-9-month-update-2200-fue.html

scary

Everyone grows at different rates. I think you are coming along nicely just try not to focus on it. Things really start happening around the 4-6 month mark from everything I've looked at. Stay patient it'll happen :)

People aren't just saying this to calm you down, they mean it. You can't expect anything at all at 3 months apart from a few strays growing, which you have now.

The average patient begins to see the bulk begin to take shape at month 4, and virtually nothing at 3. Some patients see very little until month 5 and still have very strong final results.

I found the 2-3.5 month mark very stressful personally so understand the concern, but right now your result isn't abnormal, in fact it is the experience of the average patient.

Wow! You barely needed a transplant. 29 years old, fin for 8 years, you've almost a full head of thick hair.

I wonder how your hair would have looked today if you didn't take fin for 8 years... maybe the same? If so you got strong hair genetics. If not? Then bless that fin.

I had a fail HT w Dr.Feriduni. You can find my thread on here. 3 months is obviously early but in all fairness just send an email to the clinic to keep tabs. I'm actually about to do another write up as it's been a few years and still my result is very sub par

@Baldrick101

Yeah indeed no sign of bleeding when the crusts are gone, I paid very much attention the first 10 days but I lost a lot of hair with the crusts, it was scary.

@Gasthoerer

Thanks for the link, I just watched this case, he was a slow grower, great result too

@ezel,

Hi ezel

Yeah I just saw your thread, it's sad, i understand your situation , and considering the price paid + 2000uf for nothing i would be very angry.

Did the doctor explain the cause of this failure? maybe from a high level of transection ? or when the UF was set up by the technicians.

Did the clinic offer you an arrangement?

Of course I kept contact with the clinic and they propose me an appointment in May to make a control

Yeah don't fret until at least the 4.5-month mark, or maybe even the 5-month mark; as you can see in the pics above and my own albums below, my results were very slow to come and looked like total ass even at 3 months, but really started picking up at the 5-month mark. So don't worry and stay optimistic!

Btw i still have nothing at month 3.5

Hi Exi0. Hang in there. I am on my fourth month this week and I didn't have much either during my first 3.5 months either. (I posted my pics on my own thread.) My doc said for most of her patients, growth comes in at 5th-6th month.

As I already said, it was not until the fifth month that hair began to grow. Likewise, I have attached to clarify the corresponding images. Why you make yourself so crazy and doubts the work of the doctor, I do not understand.

Compared to many other doctors, the results of Feriduni, especially the hairline, are exceptionally good.

@Hasselt

To answer your question

I saw your pictures and the result is really good compared to your initial state,

But it was a FUT in your case, for example, there is no risk of UF transection during a FUT, and if I remember well the doctor did not perform any extractions during my FUE.

If I doubt as you say,

This is because all the patients that I could see and who made a FUE at feriduni (especially French and Italian patients) had a much more encouraging regrowth in the same period.

Do you say that the grafts where not inspected under microscope before implantation? If the have been, do you think that they implanted transected grafts without roots in this amount?
