Regular Member sheraz104 Posted January 25, 2018 Regular Member Posted January 25, 2018 I used a guard 1 clipper to shave my head and it seemed to pull out hair. Will the plucked hair grow back?
Senior Member Dolph1969 Posted January 25, 2018 Senior Member Posted January 25, 2018 Yes. The follicle is still there.
Senior Member pkipling Posted January 25, 2018 Senior Member Posted January 25, 2018 Yep. It's physically impossible to remove an entire graft of hair by yourself. You're good. Just sharpen those blades, because that sounds like it could be painful. I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. Senior Member mattj Posted January 29, 2018 Senior Member Posted January 29, 2018 Repeated plucking can cause a follicle to stop producing hairs. As an example, look at how some women have over-plucked their eyebrows and now have nothing left. In theory, the same could happen to a scalp hair if repeatedly pulled over time. The emphasis on over time. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. My FUE Procedure With Dr Rahal - Awesome Hairline Result I can be contacted for advice: matt@rahalhairline.com
