Fue transplant with buzz cut

Has anyone ever gotten FUE transplants and wore an entire head buzz cut to a 1, 2, or 3 guard? Will the 3 and 4 hair grafts look pluggy and less dense? Will it blend in with existing hair? Could 3 and 4 hair grafts be cut into 1s and 2s to give a more natural look? If you have fine hair would that help? I would think if you have thicker hair it might look pluggy.

I have not cut my transplant recipient area quite that short, but I really don't think the area would look pluggy. I've inspected the area very closely in all lighting conditions and can see no difference between the transplanted hairs and the native hairs. I don't see a contrast becoming apparent if I were to cut the hair shorter.

 

I'm probably going to try a buzz cut once the weather warms up a bit.

No sorry. I wore it buzzed in only the first year or so after ht.
