Offer it an incentive, like, promise it a movie and special meal out occasionally. Or a trip abroad. This is known as behavior modification.

But if it still grows slow, don't punish it. It may just be a slow learner. Or *special*.

Look into the health supplement called MSM. There's a good amount of anecdotal evidence that it can speed up hair growth.

Just like Matt said, MSM may be able to help however, I did try it an didn't feel that it really did anything. It might have, but it's really hard to tell. After all, hair grows about 1/2 inch a month and transplanted hair doesn't typically start for 3 to 5 months. And everybody is different. So maybe it did help. But many people have reported success with it so it may be worth a try.
