HT0416 Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Hi, am i right to request a refund if i am not satisfied with result?
Senior Member hsrp10 Posted January 16, 2018 Senior Member Posted January 16, 2018 Yes, but it also depends on the fine print in the waiver you signed before the surgery. If there was gross negligence you could still be able to pursue one. Or literally even sue for one in some cases. Who was the surgeon and what is the damage? Poor results? Butchered donor area etc? go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
Senior Member Speegs Posted January 16, 2018 Senior Member Posted January 16, 2018 In extreme circumstances perhaps, if you can prove negligence or a poor result that isn't on the part of not following post-op instructions or because of an uncooperative physiology. There are no guarantees in medicine, you always assume some risk when choosing to undergo an elective cosmetic procedure, and it's why you must do your homework before committing to a surgeon. Bill - Seemiller Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 HT0416, I think we really need to hear more about your experience and see your photos. In most cases, physicians provide free touch ups to replace the grafts that did not grow. In most cases, that's fair. However, there have been times when a refund may be in order. Before getting deeply involved with asking our opinion, have you talked to your physician? When did you have your procedure? Best wishes, Bill
