A 52-year-old Asian male who has extensive hair loss from the front toward the crown. His hair is black, straight, good density average scalp laxity. He underwent 5 sessions (FUT) due to limited budget for each session :

 

The first session: 2,006 grafts(4,034 hairs) were transplanted at front.

The second session : 1,331 grafts (3,028 hairs) were transplanted at front again to add on density.

The third session: 1,790 grafts (3,776 hairs) were transplanted from front to mid scalp.

The forth session :1,008 grafts (1,930 hairs) were transplanted at crown.

The fifth session: 798 grafts (1,547 hairs) were transplanted at crown to add on density.

 

A total of 6,933 grafts (14,315 hairs) were transplanted from the front to the crown. Below are pictures before and one- year after the last procedure. He was very happy with the result.

This is a difficult case to evaluate given that his transplanted hair is so long and seems to be combed over a lot of the bald areas. Clearly he looks a lot less bald but it's hard to tell exactly where the transplanted areas are. The hairline looks good and he clearly has a lot more hair. I just feel that some people will evaluate the top as a comb over. In my opinion, he should shorten his hair (his choice of course) and get another hair transplant to try to add density. Do you have any postoperative photos you can share so we can see where the grafts were all placed?
