Whilst the new hairline, temples and crown area have started to become alive, it appears that some shock loss within the donor area has kicked in. It became evident after my latest hair cut.

I must admit that I did not thought that a shock loss could kick in 3 months post surgery.

I have contacted the surgeon who advised me to use Minox, Retin A and a topical steroid cream.

As outlined yesterday, there has been some shock loss at the back of my head. Whilst everything is growing well on the top and front, I am a bit concerned about the recent development. Maybe the 2 day session was a little bit too much for my body and I am getting the penalty right now. The is also some minor shock loss within the beard area ( also donor area). I am on Monolaurin tablets since February to combat some candida overgrowth in my stomach which is linked to my chron's disease. I am wondering if this could have had an impact towards the current development. Whilst I doubt that this is the case, it still strikes me odd to be hit with shock loss 3 month post surgery. The bald spot is very visible now which is frustrating.

I have booking with a dermatologist tomorrow to have the matter evaluated.

Dang man, sorry to see the spot. Hopefully the shot helps it recovery quickly

thanks, and I yes hope so too. I am getting the injection in the next half hour. Hopefully this can stop the alopecia and I have started to develop a number of new small patches in other areas
