Hi Vchorro,

Looking right on track for two months. As you said your fortunate not to have lost all the transplanted hair. These are difficult times, 6 months from now we will both hopefully have great barnets! I’m 3 months on Friday, so will do a full update then. The last month has seen a major improvement. My hairline is back after 20 years and density although lacking is getting there. All in all I’m very pleased, I think I may be an early grower. I’m hoping the next 3 months see huge changes. I’m keeping the hair short to blend in with the existing. Even at less than 3 months, I don’t feel bald anymore. I hope you see continued progress and look forward to your 3 month update.

Hello HG1! I'm so happy to read your progress, mate :D

It must be exciting entering in that phase. Every morning is a new joy and you seem to be very happy. That's great! :)

I don't want to get very excited, but I wish I could have an improvement like yours this month until I reach the 3 months mark. I'm a little tired of wearing a cap when I'm not home :)

Take care! :D

congrats on your op man, hope cap wearing days are soon to be behind you:D

Hahaha, thanks, mate! :)

I'm getting used to it, but lately it's quite hot and sunny here and it's a bit uncomfortable!

I must be patient, hair is coming!!! :)

3 1/2 Month Update!

Hello again, mates! :)

First of all (and for second time), my deepest apologies again. I've had a lot of work lately, some problems with !*#grgr*¬¬ clients and, in addition, my wife had a small health problem.. All of these factors caused me to take longer than I wanted to update my condition. Here we go!!!

Today I'm posting the three and a half month update!

Since the last two weeks I am able to see a big improvement. Lots and lots of new hair are still appearing all over the head and density is clearly improving because a few of the new hairs are thickening.

However, I must to stay strong, since my hair in general seems to be very, very weak and I can see most of my skull between the hairs. I know it's normal and I know it's too soon to see a uniform thickening, but I remember other ASMED cases I read some time ago and I feel a bit depressed. I don't want to reach the 4 months mark still wearing the cap :_(

I must be strong!

In fact, if I play with the lighting when taking pictures, I can really fake the effect and pretend my head is completely covered with hair, but it's just and illusion. I'm pointing to the last picture, the one on the bathroom. If I move one step forward you would be able to clearly see my scalp :o

Have a nice day, mates! And, again, sorry for my English! :D

Regards!

Hey vchorro,

Glad to hear your still alive and you and your new hair haven't been kidnapped by aliens :D

Your hair is really taking off. I'm a month ahead of you and I saw big improvements from 3.5 months to where i am today (4.5 months). Don't stress about the density, this will improve month on month. Very happy for you and I hope your improvement continues at a pace.

Hahaha, thank you very much for your words and your concern about the possible alien abduction, mate :)

Today I feel more confident about my hair and the mirror gives me back an improved image from myself.. this is an emotional roller-coaster!!!

Mi biggest "concern" is to see so much new fine hair and to be afraid that they will stay that way and never get thick enough to really cover my head... but again, I know it's all in my head and in my mind, so I will be strong!

By the way, mate, you are looking really good with your new hairline! Besides, your new hair covers your head in a very uniform way, yo must be very, very happy with the evolution you are enjoying :)

Take care, HG1!

Don't stress about the hair being thin, it will thicken up. My hairline is very course and dark, yet only a month ago was quite thin. Over time it blends in with the native hair.

4 months (and 2 days) update!

Hello again, buddies! Here I am again updating my HT at ASMED in November. As you can read in the post title, 4 months and 2 days ago I was coming back to Spain with my head full of micro holes and full of micro hopes :)

The evolution since my last update has been huge and I'm really, really happy because it's been only two weeks since my last post. Hair is growing a lot lately and it's really covering my head. In fact, now it's hard to discover new hairs coming out because of this. It was a lot easier when I had less hair!

The front line looks really well, although it still lacks density, and the 'sad' gap on my crown is beginning to retreat.Of course, no pain and redness seems to have completely gone.

It's worth crossing the desert when you see what comes next. Every day you look better in the mirror and even appreciate changes for the better every day.

Looking good buddy - I am myself looking to an FUE done in the crown area. will keep an eye on your thread to see how you progress especially your crown. I guess you had 2000 grafts implanted into that area?

I have also been quoted 2000 grafts for my crown. Cheers

Your density will improve furthermore, Looks Good in 4 months growth.

Thanks a lot, aroravikas! I hope so, the front area is looking really good but still lacks a little density. However, I'm only at month 4 and I think the evolution is going really good! :)

Thanks a lot, xabi86! Yes, Dr. Erdogan estimated 2000 grafts for the crown and he said that this quantity will give me a "high density" on the area. That "high density" was always my goal, since the crown is my "weakest point", hahaha.

For the moment, and as you an see in the pictures, the evolution in the area is slower than the front area. However, the crown area is now beginning to fill quicker, as I can definitely notice an improvement from the last pictures I posted. Day 24 will update again so you can compare, mate!

Sorry for my English!!!

Hello again, mates!

Here I am with the 5th month of this journey!

What to say! I'm still very happy with the results so far. :)

The new hair continued growing during this month. It's getting thicker and thicker. Thanks to this, the areas where the new hair was transplanted are getting darker and they are showing a look quite similar to the native ones (warning, they need a little more density, yes, but they look really good). My head is beginning to be quite "homogeneous", hahaha.

I have even seen multiple hair growing. I think that they are supposed to grow from this month onwards and that's great news, because they will give the desired density and a quality leap :)

The crown is filling slowly, but the growth is constant. In fact, when I'm at dark places you could not say one day I had no hair in that area. I'm very happy because, even knowing that the crown is the slowest area, the evolution is noticeable.

Ask whatever you want, mates, and, if I can, I'll be happy to help you with my answers!!!

See you!!!

Hello mates! Sorry for the delay in answering you, lots of problems lately, but it seems karma is giving me a rest time at last! :P

@pancake Thanks, mate! Yes, my "penitence" was quite light. I lost hair, of course, but I think I only lost about the 50% of the implated one. If not less :)

@Jamothee Thank yo so much, mate! I'm really happy with the result so far :)

@wheretogo Of course! I will post the six month update in two or three days! :)

Here I am again, dudes!

Halfway through the journey for the front area, and some less for the crown... and as you may guess, I'm completely happy with my new "me" :):):)

The density in the front area is almost perfect. It lacks a little, but I can barely see my skull with a strong light over me. The crown area is behind in these terms, but I think I'm no more a man with a bald crown. The evolution is really good (I think, you can tell me your opinion!)

I'm making normal life. I don't care about strong winds, rain or all that things that, one day, worried me and even kept my isolated at home.

Bye, mates! ;)
