I'm 18 months on fin, sides coming and going in phases?

I started finasteride in March 2016. For the most part the drug has been well tolerated and still is.

 

I never really had major problems but I did go through phases of watery semen, low libido, less satisfying ejaculations etc. Then everything is basically fine again.

 

Well recently all of the above has happened and is currently ongoing.

 

My question is has anybody else gone through phases of the above, it abates, then resurfaces? Just curious how common this is or is it just me?

I can relate, I started around u years ago totally lost libido carried on taking it hoping it would go away and did now 7 years later still on it libido fine

I can't speak directly to the on-again/off-again occurrence of the side effects, but I will say that I stopped taking propecia a couple of times over the course of the past 3 years, most recently for good about 5 months ago.... AND I now realize in hindsight that I may have been experiencing more side effects than I had realized when taking the pill. Primarily, I didn't realize how often I wasn't waking up in the morning with an erection until I started waking up with one pretty much daily once I stopped taking the pill. I'm monitoring my hair fall and haven't noticed any significant difference, but tbh, I'm okay with taking the risk at the moment in favor of keeping my equipment down south in top notch condition. :cool:
