Hi mate, I assume your in the U.K. as you are considering Dr Reddy? I also asked my GP but they are just useless don't think the GPs here give hair loss that much consideration. Anyway, i recently started on Propecia and have been on it for the last 2/3 months. I get mine from Boots. You can go online and search for it on the website. You get the option of speaking to someone in store (basically fill out some paperwork about you and your hair loss, tell you about possible side effects etc) and then they you can buy some there and then providing you are applicable. If you don't want the in store consult you can just buy them, again on the Boots website.

I did the in store consult first and they didn't tell me I didn't know already. So I bought a months supply in store and have just recently bought 3 months supply without going back to the store. Oh and it was also 1mg. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Probably is mate, I didn't do any searching around for it, just went on the boots website and cracked on from there. To be fair it's a small price to pay, if in the long run it stabilises your hair loss.

Have you had your consultation with Dr. Reddy yet? If so, he should be able to prescribe this for you... If not, reach out to him and tell him you're planning a procedure with him and would love to start propecia and see if he can write you the prescription.

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My views/opinions are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.
