Update: 3 months 18 days.

Today I had my first hair cut after my HT with Eugenix. I specifically asked my barber to keep my sides and back short. I know I have fine hairs on the sides which exposes my scalp if cut them too short. But I think it gives more volume to the center when rest of the hairs are cut short.

After the haircut I applied some Caboki fibers which I ordered from USA. You can see from the pics that I failed miserably in handling it. I was using it for the first time and applied it by my self. I am not planning to use it regularly, only occasionally when I have to attend some formal function.

Try using little Dermmatch on the back and the sides...so that even with very short hair, you wouldn't see the effects of FUE.

Thanks Torip for suggestion. Will try demmatch next time. Hope I won't need to use it at all after 3 months.:P

One thing I experienced with Caboki is that fibers do stick to hands when touched on applied area. My hands almost became black when I touched my crown area where I applied hair mist/volume spray of Caboki along with fibers.

Now I am slowing realizing the importance of punching( slith marks) done by surgeon at the time of HT. It will ultimately decide the outcome of HT. Hairs well placed will give good illusion of full head. Its been 4 months since my Ht and my front hairline is slowly taking shape. Hairs when combed in particular direction gives illusion of full head. Though i cannot say confidently that my progress is upto mark as density is a major issue and my crown area is almost empty. It is still wait and watch as 75% of my Ht was of beard hairs and I have read somewhere that it take more time for beard hairs to grow.

Your results are exponential from 3rd month to 4th month. Mainly the front portion has got good density of hairs.

Do you know where your beard hair was transplanted (front or crown?). They have a different growth cycle.

Are you using any medicines?

Beard hairs start to kick in around the 6 month mark. I had a few sessions using beard hairs and the initial growth was consistently around 5.5 months.

2 Months update.

Redness at beard has got reduced but there is clear sign of over extraction of beard hair from the left side. Friends ask me if my left side of the face got burned or something. Still early to judge what will the outcome.

Yes, it's important that beard hair is evenly extracted to avoid any patchy effects

With regards to redness, I found that using tea tree oil was great for restoring a nice even skin tone. Using a face wash with salicyclic acid and exfoliating the skin with an alum block after shaving also helps.

Beard hairs were mainly used as a filler in between hairline. I think was used to fill center head and the crown. I am on Fin 1mg and cyclic multivitamins.

It's not that none of the beard hairs are growing. Some of the strands of hair that you can see in the crown area are beard hairs. They are thick and hard to touch. Is it possible that some beard hairs grows from day one and rest will follow say after 6 months?

Front hairline looks more definite now. Though density is still a mojor issue. When combed in a particular direction, it's enough to cover the subject. However when hairs are wet or stroked in other directions, they exposes the gaping holes in HT. Crown is more or less same as at the starting of 5th month. I am not sure how many of 6000 grafts have croped up till now. May be seniors/experts my judge. Made a collage of before/1st month/and recent , to have comparison.

Posting some pics after 7 months and four PRPs. I think nothing much will change from now on. But as per doctor it's only 70% growth in 7 months as beard growth kicks in late.

First few pics are of wet hairs and afterwards they are of dry hairs.

Everything is looking good, which doctor performed the extractions and which doctor made the incisions?

This month update please...?

Hi Torip. Nothing much development. Did't witness any new growth of follicles. Only hairs have become longer giving more coverage. Little bit of Caboki giving decent look. Will try to post some pics in coming days.

Sharing some pics of 8 months post HT. There is definite improvement from 7th month as I was comparing pictures. But I am not sure wheather it is improved density or length of my hairs which are giving more coverage.

First two pics are of wet hairs, combed straight just after shower. Other pics are of dry hairs. I normally comb my hairs backwards for better illusion of full hairs.

It's been one year since my first hair transplant with Dr. Pradeep at Eugenix. I must say, I am very much satisfied with the results after taking into consideration of my poor donor area and NW6 baldness.

Till date I have experienced zero hair fall. It might me due to finax 1mg that I have been taking on and off or might be because of hairs extracted from safe donor area.

Now I am thinking for going for second hair transplant with the clinic to cover my crown area. But I am not sure whether I have enough donor area left for the same.

Experts please advice.

Yes, you can go for a 2nd hair transplant and fill in the crown as long as you continue to use beard hair.

If I was in your situation I would definitely go for it, no doubt about it.

Thank you very much for your journey. Was really helpful.

Can I ask, which doctor operated on you mostly as they have two packages they offer. One is with Dr Sethi and Dr Bansal which costs higer and the other is with other doctors that work for the clinic and the cost is lower. Do you recommend any doctor in particular and what is the most important think during the surgery?

Also, did you come across any side effects from using Finasteride? Like low libido or problem with the Erection. Sorry for being so direct but this is the only place I can ask the questions.

By the way, looking at your old pictures and now, you look incredible. I hope you can get the crown area filled as well and dont have to use fibres anymore :)

It was more or less a team work. Dr Sethi made the hair line drawn. Dr Arika and Dr Sethi both did scalping. Extraction was done by Dr Shishir and Dr. Abhinav in turns and insertion was done by technicians.

I am already post 5 months since my second HT with Eugenix for my crown area. You can check my relevant thread for updates.
