Senior Member California Posted October 27, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) This 26 years old expat Indian man with Type 6 pattern, received 3670 scalp grafts through FUE technique. The hairline, part of mid scalp, temples and crown area were covered and he was placed on Propecia 1 mg a day for 8 months following the procedure. Results seen after 20 months. Regular Member sadhairlossman Posted October 27, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted October 27, 2017 Why is the front hair long/short in pre op pics? Can't tell how his front zone 1 2 3 really looked like pre op. Great results though
Senior Member Shera Posted October 27, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Why is the front hair long/short in pre op pics? Can't tell how his front zone 1 2 3 really looked like pre op. Great results though I think he just turned up like this at the clinic on the morning of surgery. I suspect he'd just had enough and had got to a stage when he was even too paranoid to visit a barber/hairdresser. So unsure on how he should turn up, he turned up having attempted to cut his hair himself in the hope of looking half decent for his doctor. Unfortunately, it didn't quite work out that way. For those younger readers, please don't try this at home! So you can all see that the new hair has given him a massive new lease of life. Since the surgery his confidence appears to have gone through the roof to the extent that he now is even willing to visit a hair salon and attempt the blonde highlight look favoured by his hero, Bhangra sensation JazzyB. Fair play to him! For future patients it is not necessary to cut your hair, leave that to Dr Bhatti on the morning of surgery. Senior Member Dr Tejinder Bhatti Posted April 25, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted April 25, 2019 I advise Propecia only for 6 months after which patients stop it. Even he did stop at 6 month mark. Thank you for your interest in the case.
