Thank you @ HTREGRETS

I will work on trying to get pictures and measurements of the scar

When I went for a haircut 15-17 days ago, my hair dresser had a hard time finding it

This looks excellent, thank you for sharing all of the pictures! I'm sure with the amount of loss, grafts used, and your hair characteristics that this will be a home run! Things are about to get exciting.

Do you have any close up pics of the scar? Also, do you know how long it is?

Thanks for sharing all the photos, it looks super clean and even after the first day it barely looks like you've had anything done. 6-8 months down the line I'm pretty sure your going to be very happy!!

Have you experienced any shock loss in your native area?

Did you feel any pain during or after the procedure?

Please do keep us posted!!

@UKLad81: I did loose some hair when brushing it after a shower; a lot more than normal but Dr Cooley said that would happen.. after a month or so I changed my hair style to cover the recipient area.

No pain during the procedure at all. I recall saying I felt something slight during the hair implanting stage and Dr Cooley took care of it in a flash. The only pain after the procedure was sleeping on my back and my neck being stiff due to the way I was sleeping/lying down. Also piggy backing what other posters have said about pain during the procedure, those bloody injections! hurts for a few seconds

I'm currently on day 106 and am confident enough to walk around with my hair brushed back (even though not much has grown in yet) It's a weird sensation walking around thinking for the first time in my adult life, new hair is growing vs falling out.

@forgotpassword, I'm hoping you remembered your password now! :-) Would you say the early shedding brought you back to what you looked like prior to the surgery or was it worse? Which areas of your scalp did you shed? Not sure I have seen photos but would be great to see a comparison.

How's the scar for you? I imagine with all your hair at the back its concealed quite well?

@Markee, best to reach out to the clinic and get a proper price but to give you an idea, I paid just under $4 a graft (FUT).

I'll start posting the pics from months 2-3 over the weekend so you can see how the shock loss looked.

Sorry for the late response HTREGRETS

Work had me travelling but what really got me was the passing of my cat. My wife and I don't have children so we really spoiled our cat; she was with us for 7 years. Been a rough 5-6 weeks.

How are things coming along? Any word on the length of the scar? Just curious what to expect with my upcoming procedure.

Day 144

These pictures have me concerned; the parting on both front left and front right sides seems to be on the thin side. However these pictures were taken just shy of 5 months so hoping that it will be remedied in the coming weeks/months

So I'm 23 weeks in; 3 more weeks till I hit 6 months.

Based on other posts, a number of patients hit their growth spur between months 4-6

Maybe I'm a slow grower or my expectations were too high?

I have to be patient; this is a year long process. Staying positive with hopes that everything comes together.

Are there any patients on here who hit their growth upon reaching their 6th month? If so would love to hear from you

Happy Holidays
