Senior Member hairthere Posted October 13, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 13, 2017 (edited) This African American client desired an edge up hairline design. Ahead Ink normally uses a single point needle except for dark skin and thickening cases when we use a three-point needle. Thanks for looking! Senior Member MayiraP0chu Posted October 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 14, 2017 I feel a little darker pigmentation would have provided the much needed contrast. I think it would have defined him well. That brings me to this question. The severity of the shade is a choice given to the customer/suggested by you or is it a fixed template? Anyone can be confident with a full head of hair. But a confident bald man - there's your diamond in the rough. 3444 Strip Grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/187543-1-st-hair-transplant-strip-surgery-dr-radha-rani-complete-dossier.html My Androgenic Alopecia Scrapbook http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188027-hair-wars-may-follicles-you.html
Senior Member Shera Posted October 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 14, 2017 That's a fantastic SMP result. Very subtle, not overpowering, a near on perfect result. Hats off to you!
Senior Member MayiraP0chu Posted October 14, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 14, 2017 Yeah, on second thoughts, it think it's near perfect like Shera says. Anything darker could make it look like the head is painted. I guess a better complexioned/clear skinned man would have given the contrast I was looking for. Senior Member hairthere Posted October 15, 2017 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 15, 2017 Thank you Shera and Mayira! Mayira, These pictures were taken immediately after the procedure. I use Beauty Medical products/pigments exclusively and the base color is medium brown. I can lighten or darken this tone depending on the skin type. The pigment will actually develop and darken up a bit more over the next week or so. IMO this type of pigment and subtle delivery makes for the most realistic result.
