Senior Member micknick Posted August 25, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted August 25, 2017 Hi guys, I had surgery yesterday at the excellent Farjo clinic in Manchester. I will post my results in due course but one question I have is in regards to ice pack she on the grated area. It says on the instructions to apply ice pack for 10-15 minutes every 4-6 hours. I'm just quite worried about going near the grafted area- anyone have any experience of this? The clinic is now closed so I can't call them right now... Senior Member rev333 Posted August 26, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted August 26, 2017 Whatever you do: do not touch the recipient area for 7-14 days. If you feel you can't apply the ice pack to the donor area without touching the new grafts then don't do it. Maybe use a small, narrower ice pack
