Hi guys,

Planning to undergo an FUE with Dr.Radha in India.

Anyone have any experiences or results from her? I know she does FUT but I wanted to know about her FUE

Thanks!

just to update.

I had a consultation with her.

She seems quite confident about her FUE. She mentioned that she has now been able to bring down her transection rates to around 10-12%.

I have yet to see patient results because she says she does this as a final procedure (after strip).

So what do you guys think? I have had an FUT with her before and had good results. She is an amazing surgeon no doubt but should i take the risk of getting an FUE done?

Note this is for only a small procedure of around 1200-1500 grafts.

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks yall!

Hi Shera,

If you read my first post you would know that I am not looking for an assessment of my condition.

I just need to know if anyone has any information regarding the FUE practice of Dr. Radha, either from someone who has had it done through her or has seen some of her FUE work.

In that case, I was always thought Dr Radha was solely an FUT practitioner, this was the case when I considered her whilst doing my own research back in 2014.

I thought so too, but it seems like she has been doing it for a while and is now getting better at it.

I think I might just be the first one on this forum to undergo a FUE through her.

Let's see how it goes. Fingers crossed!

At least she is being honest. However, 10-12% is still bad compared to FUT which is 2-5%.

Hello Khali and Kuboid,

I just saw both of your PM's via gmail. Sorry for the delayed reply. My PM privileges are not activated yet (frankly it is befuddling, I haven't even got a response, let alone a resolution for my requests to get my PM privileges) and I just realised I can see the messages in Gmail too. Awesome your surgery is working out well Khali. I would like a chat with the both of you. If you are up for it, ezhilventhan@gmail.com is my email. Or, even easier, whatsapp on +918056233832.

Cheers!

Sorry, I do not want to make this into a FUE vs. FUT discussion but:

The main longterm reasons to go for FUE or FUT:

- You do not want a Strip scar

- You are stripped out or cannot have FUT to skin laxitiy to begin with

The short term benefit is the possibility to be in representable position much faster.

But this should be not a decision maker IMO.

Summary:

You already have a Strip scar. One major advantage of FUE is already lost. If you are not stripped out, go FUT (unless we are not talking about << 1000 grafts repair). If you are stripped out, go with a FUE specialist.

Good luck!

Can't imagine flying half way across the globe to save money on a hair surgery.  I do know guys do it all the time so I guess the savings are great.  Just can't imagine it myself.  Best of luck, let us know how it goes!
