Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 FUE performed on a 37 year old Caucasian male with: - NW II Class T - Donor density of 72 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor region and 88 FU/cm2 in the parietal donor region - Hair diameter of ~60-74 µm - ‘Wrong-placed’ transplants and linear scar from a previous procedure in 2010 (ex domo) Treatment plan: - 1st FUE treatment with 2400-2800 FU to reconstruct the entire hairline - 2nd FUE treatment with 300-500 FU to fill in the existing linear scar Performed procedures: 1st Treatment (April 27th, 2015) A Follicular Unit Extraction with 1744 FU * 640 single hair FU * 1104 double hair FU * No triple hair FU Ʃ: 1744 FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE); Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.8mm – 0.85mm) 2nd Treatment (February 4th, 2016) A Follicular Unit Extraction with 310 FU * 100 single hair FU * 210 double hair FU * No triple hair FU Ʃ: 310 FU Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle.
