Due to questions from some users of this forum I decided to share my experience with HLC. Some words about this clinic. HLC is located in Turkey, Ankara, the chief doctor is Dr. Ozgur Oztan. Clinic used stick and place tehnique, manual extraction and they extract no more than 1200 grafts per day. Age: 27 Norwood level: 2-2.5 Date of operation: 13-14.02.2017 Meds before surgery: min/fin for 2 years Choosing clinic In my choice I have only considered FUE, manual extraction, clinic with good reviews and a price in the range of 2-3 euros. So I began to consider ASMED and HLC. During online consulatation with ASMED i was offered 3000 grafts and I decided that this is too much. And HLC offered abous 2000 grafts and this was the main reason for choosing HLC. At the moment 1.5 months have passed since my surgery and now i'am at ugly duckling phase... If you look at my preop picture in profile, you can see that alopecia pretty much "ate" my sides. So, of cource, i planned to implant this area. But i didnt say this to Ozgur, because i wanted to see how he would design a new hairline. So, our opinions coinsided... If I may enquire, you mentioned the stick and place technique used, so they went 1 for 1, they immediately extracted and implanted the same hair no real time sitting out of body? or am I understanding you incorrectly? A little bit incorrect. In one session they extract about 500-700 grafts and after that implant them in recepient area. "For regular hair transplants, a surgeon typically makes all of the recipient site incisions first, or in stages, then transplants the follicular hair units into each recipient site on by one. With a stick and place technique, however, the surgeon will transplant the follicular hair unit immediately after the incision is made. The surgeon will continue to make a recipient site and then place the graft immediately after until the hair restoration procedure is complete." 3.5 months update Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I suspected it but once I got here I realized that they don't do crazy marketing simply bc they don't need it. They are fully booked up with only 3 surgeons that perform surgeries. Their business model is unparalleled; no technician touches your scalp, only surgeons. Max 1200 grafts a day in 2 different sessions of up to 600 each (morning/afternoon), only manual extractions.. etc. I will comment much more. Will post soon.
