Curt
Has anyone here had temporary SMP done and liked it so they had permanent SMP done later. I'm nervous about having a permanent procedure done in case it doesn't come out right or I don't like it. Thank you.
Regular Member secondtryuser Posted January 22, 2017 Regular Member Share Posted January 22, 2017 I haven't had it done, I've had a hair transplant. However, surely getting a temporary one is the way to go, it's much more sensible. That shaved head look wouldn't look natural or appropriate when you're old. Senior Member NicH0le007 Posted January 25, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted January 25, 2017 Has anyone here had temporary SMP done and liked it so they had permanent SMP done later. I'm nervous about having a permanent procedure done in case it doesn't come out right or I don't like it. Thank you. I have a few patients who are now opting to transition to a "more permanent" form of pigmentation that we offer. It is still semi-permanent but it only requires a touch-up approx. every 2-3 years. It's a gradual process and needs to be done by someone with experience in both procedures so that they understand how both pigments work. But, yes it can be done... I am the SMP and Micro-Pigmentation Specialist for Shapiro Medical Group. Always feel free to message me privately with any additional questions you might have. I am trained in both the permanent and temporary pigmentation methods and am happy to be here to offer support as a neutral resource.
