DaveM123
I'm really debating whether or not to get it done. I always thought I can have just one surgery and be done with it. But from reading on here, it seems like most people on here go in for multiple sessions, and then they are on meds to slow down the original MPB loss. How long are the meds used for? (Fin, Propecia, etc) Is this a life long thing, just weighing the pros and cons.

Senior Member Maxxy Posted January 15, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2009 Welcome Dave123, There are many factors that come into play when deciding wether you want/need more then 1 session - scale of loss/future loss/expections to name a few. Finasteride/Propecia are the same drug, like minoxidil it's believed if you stop, your hairloss will continue and revert back to where you would have been had you not taking the drugs.
