Dr. Vladimir Panine
This 50 year old gentleman came to me wanting to improve the appearance of his hair. His hair loss pattern was similar to a class 4v. His goal was to keep a conservative hairline to fit his age now and one that would look good as he continued to age. In addition he wanted to increase the density in the crown. In the frontal zone he wanted to add more density into the frontal 1/3 of his scalp without really lowering his hairline much at all. In the crown I placed most of the grafts on the part side and towards the front of balding crown area, which will help him when styling his hair. Here are his results 7 and 16 months post-op. The total graft count was 3,137. Dr. Vladimir Panine is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
Senior Member Spanker Posted September 13, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 13, 2016 This is very good hairline placement and very good plan. This patient IMO is as close to the perfect candidate as it gets in terms of hairloss level and age. He is in a position that he would likely never need another transplant to look normal but could another to increase density if he loses more and wants to. Senior Member ontop Posted September 13, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 13, 2016 I like the front but I feel in zone 3 & 4 he will undoubtedly loose more in the future, so another pass is more likely unless of course he jumps on medications which could keep the wolfs from the door for a bit. Overall nice work & love the presentations.
