Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted July 7, 2016 Share Posted July 7, 2016 FUT performed on a 64 year old Caucasian female with: - Ludwig class II-1 – II-2 anterior - Donor density of ~64-72 FU/cm2 in the temporal region and ~60-64 FU/cm2 in the occipital region - Hair diameter of ~58-64 microns Treatment plan: A Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 2500 FU to restore the hairline and add density to the central core region. Performed procedure – March 15th , 2013 A Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 2543FU * 490 single hair FU * 999 double hair FU * 754 triple hair FU * 300 quadruple FU Donor closing in 1mm lower edge Trichophytic Closure technique; Parallel incisions (single, double and triple hair units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.7mm – 1mm); Thickening of the hairline and central core with an average density of 45 FU/cm2.
