What's the earliest transplanted hair can shed and be considered normal?

after 10 days they're safe.

SHedding usually happens between 2 and 4 weeks..

Hair transplantation is a surgery, not a science so no two people have the same exact process. If you've recently had a surgery and are concerned about early shedding, try and forget about it. Worrying will only drive you crazy. If its been less than 10 days, you may have disloged a graft(s)

You can loose some hairs in the first two weeks and the hairs or the stem cell that will produce new hairs is safe in your scalp within the first week. As youonlyliveonce says most grafts will shed between 2 and 4 weeks.

But I hear many times that people have not shed their hair after the first month, 9 times out of ten this is patients being too gentle when washing their hair it is good to get rid of these hairs to make way for the new hair that will follow.

What would be considered normal shedding of the grafts would be 2-3 weeks...;)

Ditto above - sharing first hand experience now for my 2nd HT - 4 weeks today, and between weeks 2 and 4 it 90% shed.

Ugly ducking hit me hard and fast. :(

I'm serious.  Just look at my face.

Certainly - as soon as something happens!

For now I'm back to pre-procedure hair - worse actually as I shaved! But I did have a cool morning after pic in my thread entitled VOXMAN REPORTS.

Check it out.
