Yaz, would you consider taking a picture with your hair combed forward/downward over your forehead? I've been trying hard to find pictures of post FUE with a style like that because I'm concerned about how that might look with HT density, but I can't find hardly anything. Assuming you haven't cut it recently, yours looks like it's long enough.

Congratulations on an incredible result.

Hey mate, sure I do it now for ya. The density is quite high in my hair line and mid scalp. When I do comb it forward, the hair reaches near my eyebrows. But its very curly due to my hair characteristics. If you look at my old thread, you will find pics with my hair combed forward. I stopped sporting the frontal comb over as my new hair line has opened up plenty of new styling options.

Hi Yaz89 - thanks so much for sharing your story! I'm trying to get in touch with Dr. Erdogan's clinic but haven't been able to. Also new to the site so I haven't figured out the DM system yet...

Could you please put me in touch with the clinic? I'd love to follow in your footsteps on this :)

Looking forward to the 12 month update!

Hi guys. It has been nearly 4 years post op from 1st transplant and 13 months post op 2nd transplant. I haven't been on the forum for a while as hair loss doesn't bother me anymore. I have an great head of hair and I think I am set for many years to come. Have reduced fin to M-W-F the past 3 months. No change in hair quality or increase in hair loss. Still stable on the reduced dosage. Will be visitng asmed in the near future for official clinic photos.

Nearly 5 years post op from first transplant and 2.4 years post op from second transplant.

This is how nearly 5k grafts look on an slicked, virtually bald head. This was an extremely close cropped hairstyle which I sported last month.

Considering one small tranplant for the hair line to close micro-density issues but apart from that; life is good.

A lot has changed in life; I am 30 years old and it has been one hell of a journey when I had my first transplant at 24. I got married in April which was also the 2nd anniversary of my second transplant. Talk about coincidence!

I wouldn’t consider you to have had “a slicked bald head” as it looks like your crown has stayed intact. Crown loss is the kiss of death as I’ve had 3,700 grafts in my crown alone. Amazing result nonetheless. Happy for you.

Thanks for the feedback. The crown has remained stable and thickened due to finasteride. I used to take it everyday since 2013 but reduced the dose to M-W-F. If it loses effectively I will consider adding minoxidil to keep the fight going. I did ask Dr Koray to add grafts to the crown but was told I had too much existing hair.

Your point on the “slicked bald head”. I am not outlaying the whole head. But the areas which were void of hair such as the hair line, focusing on the front and middle areas. Don't be fooled by the frontal forelock; it was extremely weak and only had a few hundred of existing hair.
