Can I have a Transplant ?

Most docs have said to do the front and work towards back up to crown.

Then after 6-12months see if something can be done for the crown.

Some say fue, some fut and some both.

Picture of how my hair might look if i got a ht

If you want, we can arrange an appointment for a personal consultation with Dr Devroye.

He will be able to explain you in details all the work that has to be done in your case.

This consultation is essential before the surgery.

Hi n00b,

Yes I have been checking harins thread and contacted the doctor there.

The possible fue treatment plan they said was in the picture below.

Give and take on grafts with some beard grafts too.

I've been in contact with them many times by email but recently they have not been replying to me, I don't know why.

I'm reading alot and looking at peoples hair transplant journeys...

After having 3 in person consultations with reliable docs and researching...

I do think that high norwoods like myself need to have atleast 1 strip/fut hair transplant.

This could give a good 4000+ grafts one time which could be used for the front hair line which will frame the face and add some density to the mid scalp including beard grafts up to the crown and if i'm really lucky some cover for the crown in one hair transplant.

This could save my donor area as well for future too 1 neat thin scar rather than trying to get this much by fue one time and having multiple dots like scars all over the donor area thus depleting it.

Then there is an issue of the scar and i do like to keep my hair at back and sides short which i have mentioned to the docs this is why they said go for fue but if i had future hair loss and needed to buzz down to like number 1 or 2 on a clipper the strip scar would become an issue more than the fue dot like scars ?

I'm still getting different opinions from the docs fut/fue, the number of grafts i should start of with from 2500 to 4000+, some still say i don't have enough donor to cover the area of loss, future hair loss, meds etc

Also price and travel costs can vary alot too...
