Senior Member voxman Posted January 11, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2016 I am finally moving ahead with my 2nd Procedure! To those of you who were not around last year, I was planning my 2nd procedure following the Dr. Mohebi Contest in January where as part of being a contestant, I received a very good consultation and decided to go with him no matter who won - and then I had a Heart Attack on Feb 5. Part of my therapy following the incident was to be put on Anti-Platelet Meds - which sort of puts the damper on any elective surgery because of the increased bleeding risk - and remain on them for 12 months. Well, the date is near and I just today put my deposit down for surgery on March 31. The plan is 2500 FUT to fill out and very slightly lower the hairline, then address behind the hairline to add density, especially on the left side where I normally part my hair and then use any remaining grafts to address the crown. I have posted a pre-1st procedure pic and the results almost 22 months later along with the outline of the #2 plan. I brought some Peanuts to feed the 200 lb Elephant in the room - why not, after repping him last year, did I elect not to use Dr. Bhatti? I would have gladly put my head in Bhatti's hands but the travel at the time of my window of opportunity is just not tenable - plus I have a show business commitment in L.A that requires a great deal of contact and time. So with complete confidence I am using the Physician-to-the-Stars Dr. Mohebi! I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Senior Member Spanker Posted January 12, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2016 Man, I would love to see you do a mega session and totally blow it out with a 4500 graft case, dropping you hairline down to 8 cm and really changing the frame of your face. But, you have been a really happy guy with a small procedure, I think you'll like whatever you have done. Thank you for your vote of confidence in Dr. Bhatti. It is highly appreciated. Your plan (in regards to the target areas), seems to be realistic and practical. We wish you good health and great hair! I'm quite sure that a Mega session would put Tom Cruise out of work for some time, but it's a thought... I do believe that I am being as realistic as possible given my hair goals and the fact that I am 66 now. A hairline is just part of the parcel and means little to me really, tho, as my ultimate goal is to have the density it requires to do a good side part sweep with falling bangs and long on the sides and back. This old rocker wants the hair in his eyes. Which I can actually do now...I just want more. I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Senior Member voxman Posted January 23, 2016 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 23, 2016 10 weeks away and I'm getting anxious. March 31st and counting. It's not like I don't have things to keep me occupied until then. Work is keeping me very busy and I have upcoming trips to Jacksonvile, Fla, Phoenix, AZ , Sacramento, Fresno, and Las Vegas. Band has two Casino gigs next month. Grandson getting married in March. Taking Cruise to Caymans a week before that. Then a Spring Festival Gig follows. Then 1st rehearsals for new Moody Blues Tribute Show coming up. And then the HT with Dr. Mohebi. Whew.. looking forward to the relaxing surgeons chair! Only downside to this whole thing? I gotta get a haircut for the procedure.... You guys know I HATE haircuts - BUT the upside is after HT #2 then I can REALLY grow my hair long. I'm serious. Just look at my face. My Hair Regimen: Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
