@Andi9 I will upload some pics soon but both sides are doing well since day 1. Very minimal shedding on sides and I can feel new hair as well. It requires some time to fully mature and darken the hair but still it is looking better than before.

Hi Ghumanz,

Your hair is at a similar state as mine was at this stage, nothing for you to worry about, just buckle down and enjoy the ride.

The pimples will go away with time as will the itchiness, just carry on with your current routine.

All the best.

@Sultsay, Thanks and good luck. Dr. Bhatti is definitely as good choice, no regrets even just 2 months post OP.

Hello Everyone,

I skipped 3rd month update as there was nothing major to report and now posting pics taken at 4 month. At that point hair started to regrow at once and due to that I got lots of pimples and irritation at scalp, pimples were every where and then I contacted Dr Bhatti through email. He responded within few hours and he prescribed some antibiotic ointment and that took care of it.

Please let me know your views about my progress and the pimples etc.

Hello, As I am noticing a big difference as compared to 3rd and even 4th month now at 4.5th months post OP, I though I should post another update with some comparison. Hair color, texture and shape everything is improving day by day and process is looking as expected at this stage.

Front (hairline) is ahead of other areas, top is still lagging behind little bit but I think will catch up very soon.

Please let me know what you think about it, all pictures are taking with flash so definitely showing little bit different as compare to normal texture of hair.

Also still noticing some pimples every other day along with a hair in middle of each pimple and that give me more encouragement and relief for better growth in upcoming months.

I am sharing my 6 months and 1 week post OP pics, texture of hair is improving lot but still having mixed feelings. Front part of head is not looking bald any more but still thickness is not that I want.

I know I still have few months for improvement as I have few hair in-between just 1 mm in length (sprouted few weeks ago, due to which I got few pimples again which are curing themselves in usually 3-4 days.) I hope time will fill those gaps too. I am posting one picture from top as compared to my last update it is looking better now.

FYI:- Crown was not touched and I have plan to cover that part next year.

looking good Ghumanz...

I can notice some red dots along the hairline in your picture. Are these the new hair sprouting pimples you refereed to? or it is something else?

Also may i know the reason why you are having mixed feelings?

@n00b, yes these red pimples are new growth, I am using antibiotic ointment to tackle them and all of them having hair in center, mixed feelings because thickness is not up to the par yet. But definitely improving.

It's still early days man and it looks to be improving well. Everyone grows at different rates. The front view looks very good and that is the most important view

What is important for the first 6-8 months is that they hair starts to grow. After 6 months the hair will continue to thicken until roughly a year. This will vary per person and hairs can continue to pop up after 6-8 months.

Your work looks good and you look right on par. You need to take into consideration that you have a transplant over a large area with roughly 3000 grafts.

I am approaching towards 8 months next week, last night took few pictures and want to update you guys. So far everything is looking very well, I am satisfied with my selection of doctor and the decision to cover only half area in one session as I had a big head to cover. Still I have some areas with less growth but I can understand it is hard to achieve teenagers look with just 2942 grafts. Still I feel lucky to choose Dr. Bhatti over other cheap options available in India. No body can notice like I had a hair transplant 8 months ago.

My hairline and texture of hair both are looking very natural. These picture are taken under a light from top on head and with flash, as you all know transplantation is all about to hide your baldness and a way to manage your hair to look normal. I know in next session when I will cover my crown Dr. Bhatti will take care of other less grown areas too.

Two weeks ago more hair were sprouted and hopefully that will make some difference. As everybody says it takes 18 months for 100% maturity, I think that is true and I notice improvement every week now.

FYI:- We had a family function few days ago and I colored my hair first time to cover some grey hair. That come out very well and I get very fuller and with little bit more thick look.

One more thing as Dr. Bhatti told me to take meds just for 6 months but I decided to take it longer. Now after 7 months I reduced the dose from 1 mg to .5 mg daily just want to play safe (No sides so far). Have plan to reduce further to .25 after nine months and will keep continue with this small dose as long as no sides.
