Regular Member HawkDriver Posted March 27, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted March 27, 2016 Hey guys, Still pleased with the procedure would totally do it again. Attached are my 5 month photos. Still taking Biotin daily. It is getting a bit longer so I am playing with it to see what looks best right now. I did get barber shop hair cut about 2 weeks ago, barber could not tell I had the HT even after telling him. The grafts are placed in a way that they grow to the right, if you cannot tell.. Comments welcome.

Regular Member HawkDriver Posted May 11, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted May 11, 2016 Things are moving along nicely. Had my 6 month follow up with Dr. Vories and no issues to report. I can still see some small short hairs in the recipient area that have yet to take off. Doc said hairs will continue to thicken up as time goes on. No regrets, super happy! Senior Member chrisdav Posted May 12, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted May 12, 2016 Still got a long way to go Hawkdriver and looking good so far. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.

Just curious - what was your reasoning behind having grafts placed such that they direct themselves "to the right"? 3185 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 2/17/16 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/182611-fut-3185-dr-rahal-day-after-pics.html 1204 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 3/27/17 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/186586-round-2-rahal-1204-fut-frontal-third-same-area.html ---> total of 4389 grafts to my frontal third via FUT ---> 1mg finasteride daily since 1999

Regular Member HawkDriver Posted July 30, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 30, 2016 (edited) Well, I did miss last month so I apologize. Things are going really well. I would totally do it all over again. No issues to report. A stylist friend did recommend using a fibrous styling gel, really makes a difference. Let me know your thoughts. Still taking biotin daily. Regular Member elicash80 Posted September 1, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted September 1, 2016 Thanks for the response. Since I have health issues, my doctors might not clear me for finasteride and am looking for OTC meds that can at least slow the hair loss after a transplant. T-TYPE
hairline way too high for my taste but the guy does do amazing work and his placement is very dense and tight. too bad he keeps increasing his prices. he was affordable to me at $5 a graft but not at $6 now. Regular Member Michael Vories, MD Posted September 2, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted September 2, 2016 Just for clarification our pricing structure is $5 per graft for the first 1500 grafts, and then $4 per graft for any additional grafts in that one or two day setting. We perform FUE only. Thanks! Dr. Mike Vories is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
Senior Member ontop Posted September 2, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2016 Thanks Dr Vories for your price clarification. Seems like what people don't know make up there own stories or third party information instead of checking directly to the source itself.
