Potential Recommendation of Dr. Yaman of Istanbul, Turkey

As many of you know, we gather as much information as possible about a physician, their staff, technique and track record before they are even considered for recommendation on the Hair Transplant Network. We’d like to gather your input and opinions regarding the potential recommendation of Dr. Resul Yaman of Istanbul, Turkey on the Hair Transplant Network. At this time, Dr. Yaman is only being considered for recommendation, not the Coalition. To see our standards for recommendation, click here.

 

Dr. Resul Yaman has over 6 years experience and performs hair transplant surgery exclusively at his clinic in Turkey. Dr. Yaman specializes in follicular unit extraction (FUE), eyebrow transplantation, hair transplant repair procedures, beard transplantation and scar repair. His consultations are performed directly by the physician and they're free.

 

Dr. Yaman's FUE procedure is minimally invasive and very hands on. Dr. Resul Yaman uses a slowly rotating modified micro motor FUE device with punch sizes ranging between .7mm and .9mm. Dr. Yaman performs all the extractions and makes all of the incisions himself. His dedicated staff averaging 5 years of experience gently place follicular units into tiny recipient sites.

 

Dr. Resul Yaman has the staff and ability to perform over 3000 follicular unit grafts via FUE and densely packs up to 50 FU/cm2 (follicular units per centimeter squared) using single haired grafts when appropriate for the patient. His procedure is done in 4 distinct phases in order to minimize the time that grafts are outside of the body. For a session of 4000 grafts for example, 1000 grafts would be harvested at a time and then implanted. This process is repeated 3 additional times.

 

In order to reconstruct a natural looking hairline, Dr. Yaman uses single haired grafts for the first two rows of the hairline and then uses double haired and triple haired grafts further back in order to maximize the appearance of density.

Dr. Resul Yaman is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the Turkish Medical Association.

 

Given Dr. Yaman's experience in performing state of the art hair transplant surgery and providing only the best results, in my opinion, he should be considered for recommendation.

We had an experience with an African American type of hair transplantation a few years ago but this kind of hair follicles are not suitable to extract with FUE tecnic. We recommend to use FUT tecnic for extremely curly hairs.

 

Most of latin people have medium curly hairs and we realize hair transplantations without problem.

We had an experience with an African American type of hair transplantation a few years ago but this kind of hair follicles are not suitable to extract with FUE tecnic. We recommend to use FUT tecnic for extremely curly hairs.

I had my operation with Dr Yaman today and just came back to hotel.

I got 4450 grafts .. I am suffering from baldness for 10 years

I had previous FUE operation 5 years ago and was bad experince but today was the opposite

 

I hope the results will be good ..

Hi I?m Spanish boy who was operated by Dr. Yaman and his staff one month an 15 days ago. I can only have kind words about them. He?s incredibly professional in his work. I was finding out for six months about Turkish clinics and he was always my first choice. His results from my point of view are very good, His FUE?s procedure are minimally invasive due to he uses a modified microtor FUE (it?s amazing you aren?t able to listening to during your operation) So you can be confident, he?ll take care your donor area very well. Besides Dr. Yaman performs all the extractions and makes all of the incisions himself, I think this is essential in my humble opinion. Last but not least, he try to minimize the time that grafts are outside of the body (It is quite simply about survival of grafts) For my session of 4000 grafts for, example 1000 grafts were harvested at a time and then implanted. This process is repeated 3 additional times. I currently are glad and opimistic but at the same time I?m wise, I Know i have to wait at least ten months more in order to see final look. I?m going to hanging pictures here in next weeks, so you can swap opinions about Yaman?s work. That?s all I encourage anyone to see Yaman?s work and he has my vote.

From the cases presented he seems to do a very good job. I also like the splitting of 1000 grafts to minimize the time out of body. Extremely cheap too by the way!
