Dr Gabel completed the 2-day procedure personally: two sessions on consecutive days (approx. 2 hours each) with a third to be completed next month for fill-ins. Results were impressive. For the first time in 15 years, I have an identifiable hairline & it looks absolutely authentic. It’s difficult to tell where my own hair begins & the pigments start, even when examining the scalp closely from a few inches away in the mirror. I expected scabs, but there were none, just mild soreness/redness. The procedure itself felt like tickling/combing against my scalp (Dr Gabel is an MD, & can prescribe a light pain reliever if needed – in my case, Vicodin). Went back to work the day after the second session with no problems. The redness had virtually disappeared. I’d recommend the procedure as great economical non-surgical option. Let me just say it's very reasonable for us middle class folks & way more affordable than a transplant. Gabel's office allowed me to make payments beforehand, which certainly helped.
