Hey man,

Hope youre doing well!

And good luck for the research on your final round ;).

Your hair looks so long already... And you can wear such a nice hairstyle. :)

I looked at some Lorenzo results on Youtube and the most results seem to be dense at 5 months and the hair is already pretty long.. Thats crazy and i have no clue how this is possible.

Maybe they never shedded?

I have a challenge against myself since saturday.

I will not look at my hair for the next 2 weeks (or even more if i can)

Its a hard challenge but i can wear a hat in the work so its possible.

I really wanna see how far i can come in 2 weeks not looking at it.

I really hope my small baby hairs will give me more density in the next few months..

So harf to stay cool when you look at others with crazy density after 5 month.

Lets see how this experiment will turn out and if im strong enough to do it.

I hope i am.^^

I think a big part of it is just letting the hair grow from day one, I didn't cut the top until just before I reached 6 months, that could be one of the reasons. Lorenzo's videos are like hair porn I watch em all the time some of the work is just incredible. Good luck with that man, it's hard for this hair not to consume your thoughts, I'm guilty of it too, your hair is looking good already just need the length to really style it:cool:

Here's my 7th month update, not much to report, things have improved, but at this point changes are very subtle, I think the hairs are maturing more now, I took some photos in different lighting, inside and outside, one picture facing the sun. Also, took a pic of my crown FUE scars are visible but only to those who know what to look for, I wear my hair to a #1 on the sides and fade up to the bald spot :o

Great result my friend!

Is it possible for you to make a top view pic with very harsh light?

That would be very interesting.

Do you see any new growth?

I think youre lucky and thats your "endresult" in terms of growth.

Of course it will mature and it will get a bit better in some much!

But hey, do the crown and youre done bro! ;)

Its crazy how different every person grows.

I think most of my growth is just happening.

I feel them and can see them... So i have to be fair with my result and have to wait for those little bastards until they catch a bit up :P

Because they do "nothing" for my hairstyle right now.

They are way to short to benefit from them.

I can feel stubbles since month 3 post op and i really hoped i will be done at six month and will already know the endresult.

Hopefully you will catch an eye on my thread :).

2 weeks from now i will post my 6 month post op pictures.

The small hairs will not be long enough to make a significant difference in this two weeks.

But hey... They HAVE to grow because they already do.

Its just so slowly that i cant see it happening^^.

All the best to you and your brilliant result my friend!

Im more then happy for you!

Thanks Hairsearch,

Here's a picture taken outside very harsh light it exposes the weaknesses of a hair transplant, of course you have realize that being a norwood 6 your never going to have real density only the illusion.

This has got to be one of the best outcomes I've across. From NW6/7 to this is incredible!! I wish my outomce was half as good

More impressive by the month. Proof that fue alone can work.

Have you had any estimates as to how many grafts you have left?

Thanks Sam and Jon,

I've gotten different responses, Dr. Umar said about 3,000 which seems unlikely in my opinion, Dr. Bhatti estimated about 1,500-2,000, yea I agree I think no one in my position has ever tried just FUE because everyone says FUT for high norwoods. Im still debating on whether or not I should get the crown done now or wait a few years to see if I need additional density to the midscalp, whatever I do I need to think it and plan it out carefully.

congrats HTsoon, looking extraordinary! I too am a high NW and chose FUE - I knew I was sacrificing density, possible less growth yield, etc. all the cons you hear about FUE - I made my decision and I am totally satisfied compared to where I was at before my HT - your result is definitely one of the best on here lately - congrats again.

Would love to hear some of the little things you noticed / experienced so far, or even at your 12 month mark.

I think there's some micro-trends we all experience that pictures don't necessarily show. Did your hair all sprout in unison, or did some areas emerge more quickly while others lagged? Were pre-op expectations the same as they are now? First procedure compared to your 2nd?

In general, I dont think many of us can say we've seen knockout FUE results and early response too. Just a small handful that I've noticed. Happy growing dude!

Holy shit, thats an amazing result. I would just do some BHT touch up on the crown and then you're done

I noticed my right side was lagging compared to my left in months 3-4, around month 5 it started matching the left more and by the 6th month they were pretty even. Because of my advanced hair loss my expectations are and remain low, my expectations have been surpassed. My first procedure I consider a success, although I had less grafts spread out a larger area it wasn't as impressive but nevertheless I was satisfied. I'm starting to see more and more knockout FUE cases and I think it'll continue to go up as the years pass. Happy growing man I'd love to see your progress.

Yea I'm in the process of consulting with a lot of doctors in person to really asses my donor area and see how I should proceed, I was thinking BHT and trico pigmentation combo happy growing dutchie.

Hey HTsoon,

Just read through your thread, good to see your results!

I'm reaching out because I've scheduled a consultation with Dr. Diep in two weeks after watching a few youtube videos. And it seems like you had some good (and some neutral) experience with him so I was hoping you could shed some light. This would be my first time consulting a surgeon and possible doing a HT.

I just joined this forum and still not sure how to send private messages or else I would have sent you a PM. Look forward to hearing from you.

Amazing hairline!!, even though coverage in sunlight appears a little lighter compared to the pics taken in artificial light as expected....this result is still TOP-NOTCH, as I said your result has become a gold-standard for any NW6/7 HT surgeries. Specially the hairline looks very natural. No way to tell that this is a transplant!. I am very happy for you bro. Many years to come people will be quoting your thread to point out how a NW6 transformation would look like if everything falls in place. Many Congratulations.

We should all be grateful we live in the FUT/FUE era. 15 years ago we all wouldve been SOL and best result we couldve achieved was the picket fence look or a Hair Club for Men hairpiece

True that Dutchie!.

@ HTsoon

So how many total grafts have you had now to achieve this result??

I got about 4,000 roughly maybe a couple grafts less.
