Are these lost graphs

Recommended Posts

FUE,

Was there any blood on the pillow? How far out are you?

Lost/dislodged grafts bleed pretty dramatically, and you would see it. The general rule is: no blood = no graft lost. Also, if you are more than 3ish days out, the chances of actually dislodging or losing a graft are rare -- as they are pretty much locked down and permanent by this point.

My vote is for normal shedding.

Hi Johnboy71, thanks for your reply. Yes he gave me post op instructions but it doesn't mention anything about whether the shedded hairs could be singles or multiples.

My understanding is that multiples are joined in the root, so if a multiple has shed, and it is still joined at the bottom, it means a root and graft has shed?

Whether its a single hair graft or a multiple hair graft, it's the graft hair that sheds, and nothing else...;)
